Night in house entertainment has to be improved

Great retreat.

Room service was very poor,language barrier could not be overcome, they took too much money for limited facilities. The food was NOT AT ALL UPTO STANDARD. what more reason can i give for not staying at a place???

The tree top room is amazing. But the deluxe cottage rooms are not up to the mark. Food is amazing and other services like hotel taxi and ayurvedic massage are heavenly.

Fine Stay

Different categories of rooms are spread over. Privacy, rooms and location is good. You have a neat dining, play area for children and nice bonfire experience. It is quite away from Thekkady, very good for honeymooners.

Except the location and a good restaurant nothing good I could write about that hotel. Sub Standard Room (worth Rs 600 - 1000 range), inadequate staff.

First of all, thank you to your website's information because of which we got a chance to visit Carmelia Heven. I went there with my husband for our 2nd anniversary. We had a ball there. To start with, their location it is just heavenly. The staff is very polite and co-operative. The plantation at their property is mesmerising. Food is too good. Its absolute worth every penny you spend. It is the first hotel I saw where you were looked after as much as they look after their foreign guests. It is 30 kms away from Periyar but it's wonderful. Their any category room is beautiful. The place rocks! A must go if you like to be with nature and get a peaceful chilly cozy holiday!
