Bhoomi Residency Reviews, Agra

My family (me, my wife and 2 yr kid) stayed in premium room in Bhoomi Residency. Overall I am satisfied with the hotel. Below are some of my positive and no-so-good feelings: 1) Hotel location is excellent, 300 meters from Taj, 4-5 km from Agra Fort 2) Rooms sizes are good, but bathroom size is small as compared to room size 3) Taj Mahal can be seen clearly from roof top! 4) Food quality was good and price were reasonable (ex. 80rs for yellow daal) 5) Room service was very good and staff was well behaved 6) There was no Tea/Coffee Maker, though this facility is mentioned in the Premium room. They tried to purchase it from market, but could not get it. I required it for heating milk for my baby. But the staff assured that they would proper support for baby food during any time of day/night. 7) The staff people bought Taj Mahal tickets, arranged auto-rickshaw for visiting Agra Fort at reasonable rates. Overall I was satisfied and the hotel rates are value for money.

Location is very convenient and walk-able to Taj Eastern gate. Room in decent condition. Had starting problems with hot water in the beginning of the day but the staff fixed it right away. Limited but decent breakfast. Definitely worth the money spent.

The hotel was very neat and clean, the staff behaviour is very good and satisfactory although the breakfast was not good as expected. The Hotel location is good but very far from the downtown.

I have recently visited Agra on 8-10 July and stayed at Bhoomi Residency and I am quite satisfied with the service and co-operation of hotel staffs. The front desk reception was quite prompt and helped us to avail vehicle on request and that too at very reasonable price...(As while going to see red fort they arranged Auto just took Rs 150 from hotel to the fort including both side fare, waiting time for lunch and 1hr 30mins fort visit). F&B service was also good as we checked in late at around 9.30 pm but got dinner within 10-15 minutes...Room was neat and clean with ample space with good furniture... I have no issues at all although it was a pleasant surprise for me to get satisfying services at a very reasonable price. I would certainly recommend as my experience was really good..

Nice fresh and clean hotel. Rooms were basic but very clean. Bathroom clean but badly finished. We could not get hot water but it was only for one night so didn't bother to complain. Restaurant looked nice but dirty at closer inspection. Things like serving plates and dishes were greasy and handles had old dried food on it. To bad because it'd been easy to clean! Breakfast was averaged but had omelettes so OK. Staff was very nice and courteous. Front desk happy to help but did charge well for their service. All in all, a basic, clean, reasonable priced place with perfect walking distance from the Taj for one night.

No 5 star hotel but really OK. Same quality, you would find in a small good hotel in London or Paris. Good (Taj) location.

I have booked two premium rooms & stayed with my family in this hotel. Location of the hotel is very near to Taj Mahal. Rooms were also neat & clean. Though the room service was bit slow & food quality needs improvement as per the rates, still I will recommend the hotel for short stay for its comfort level with family (especially kids) & friendly staff.

The services of the hotel were pretty bad. The kitchen was understaffed and the restaurant was very small. Anything you ordered took hours to deliver...the complaints were coming from other guests too. They shut down the restaurant on 27th Dec to avoid any further embarrassment. I had a kid and had good problems because of this. We always ate outside. The breakfast quality was bad too. The charges of the restaurant were pretty high in comparison.

The best thing abt hotel is that its just a 10 min walk from Taj, thus you can view Taj in its beauty in different lights of day. Also rooms were fair sized and clean (though toilets stank a bit). Reception was quick and effecient in allocating us the rooms and were attentive to our concerns. However there is conctruction work going on in hotel which creates lots of disturbing noise. Thus I wont recommend this hotel if you plan on taking afternoon naps. the swimming pool of the hotel is a joke (its hardly 8*6 feet) and filled with tap water on which filters are not run regularly. Also the telephone system crashed in middle of night thus disabling the room service. Also the BF has very limited choices (my wife wanted a Jain meal as she fasts on Mondays but Hotel was unable to help her, they even charged me extra for a glass of juice she had since its not a part of OFFICIAL breakfast). Overall I would recommend this hotel only for its location and nothing else.
