Belle Vista Wado - Enviro Green Resorts, Goa

Location
Belle Vista Wado might be a little difficult to locate so it's advisable to mention the hotel's alternate names - Enviro Green Resorts or Sangolda Panchayat. It is located 38 kms from the airport, 6 kms from Panjim, 11 kms from Thivim railway station and 7 kms from Calangute Beach.

The Belle Vista Wado, much like its name, is the queen of Vista Wado. The property is set amidst greenery and is done up like an old Goan villa. On entering, carefully placed potted plants make way for a staircase to the reception. Similar to a tree house, this area has contrasting shades of greens and browns with a slanting red kiln brick roof. Adjacent to the reception is a verandah with with tables and chairs for a meal under the sky.

Roooms
All the 12 rooms, of which two are Suites and 10 are Standard rooms, are air conditioned. Charmingly, the Suites are called 'King' and 'Queen' and their USP is a staircase sloping next to the double bed on the ground floor that leads to a quaint attic. Bright curtains, lampshades, a television, a cupboard, sofas, chairs and tables complete the decor of the room, giving it a homely feel. The attached bathroom has a bathtub and soap and toilet paper are provided for. Both the King and the Queen Suites are adjacent to each other along a common hallway with seating aesthetic arrangements.

At the end of the hallway is a bar and a restaurant decorated in shades of browns. This area leads to the entrance of Belle Vista Wado where the Standard rooms can be found in a two storeyed building. These are spacious rooms are fusnished with a a double bed, television and cupboard. The attached bathrooms come equipped with a shower cubicle. All the rooms lead to a common balcony, while the terrace on the second floor, overlooking the tops of a grove of coconut trees, is the perfect place to soak up the sun.

Laundry, STD/ISD phone calling, Internet access and a car rental service are the other facilities provided by Belle Vista Wado.
