Baywatch Resort Reviews, Goa

We checked-in at Baywatch for 2 days and 1 night and we were in half a mind to extend our stay! It was a great experience. Main Highlights: The Rooms: we booked the basic a/c room, which was more than what we had expected. Fantastic interiors and room lightings. From the room interiors to the big French door opening into a small private balcony, everything was beautiful. Service: The service is very prompt. Another nice thing about the service: we were having some drinks before our lunch at Harrys Bar and were watching a movie there. We did not want to move to the restaurant and quit on the movie. The staff was very kind to serve the lunch outside the restaurant and make arrangements for us in the lounge itself. The resort was also very accommodative when we requested to extend out check-out time by 2 hours. The Beach: Sernabatim beach is 3minutes walk for this resort. This beach is unlike the over populated Miramar or Colva beach. Almost like a private place for yourself, as not many people to be seen. Baywatch and another resort from the same Sanda group have access to this beach. There are 2-3 shacks around this place but definitely a more quiet and clean beach. The resort is equipped with a lot of facilities. Swimming pool, activities room with some indoor games and lots of books, spa and gym. This place is ideal for people who are looking for spending time at the beach, or just chilling at the resort because there is nothing much in and around this place. Just the resort and the beach But thats all most of us would need on a nice, relaxing vacation. Baywatch Resort, overall a very good, value for money deal.

Hotel was ok, although they took over two hours to resolve our booking issue. Breakfast buffet was better.

The hotel was very good, even some small problems, but this is normal here in India. The way to the beach is nearly 10 minutes.

Great value for money. Some of the staff is very polite and helpful. Room quality is good but room ventilation should be improved. There are too many rooms cramped into a small space. Proximity to Serbatim beach enhances convenience. Overall a decent package.

Everything was good but the food was served very late. Everything was expensive. Overall it was an average experience.

Close to beach, ultimate food, superb pool, live band every evening, unlimited drinks.It has all what u want.

Located about 15 min walk from the beach. It provides fabulous breakfast and great live music in the evenings.

I had stayed at Baywatch March\April 2010 so I knew it was a good hotel. However,on this occasion 15-18 Nov11, on the first night I was given Rm136 which is next to the reception, bar and main entrance. This was a mistake as this is the noisiest area and I could not sleep at all. However, I pointed this out to the staff in the morning and I was transferred to another much quieter room, 215 immediatley without any fuss. We received a Welcome Back cake in our room, which was a very nice gesture. All the staff is very attentive\helpful and are there to assist any time. Two things I would like the hotel to consider, 1. Make a private path from the hotel grounds\pool to the beach as I believe this would make the hotel an even more attractive proposition, and 2. My flight to Delhi was at 3.50pm, although I checked out at 11am, the guest's should be allowed a complimentary lunch, as this is the case in European hotels. The hotel food was delicious, our compliments to the kitchen staff and chef, the portugese\Goan night was great, my wife and I will most definitely stay at Baywatch without hesitation.
