Bambolim Beach Resort - Right on the beach Reviews, Goa

Very bad sevice

It is a mix merge style of experience. Hotel is good, food is not. Hotel location is good but very far from main city.

Hotel is maintained by owner and it is little old. There are signs of aging on hotel which are not brushed up. Rooms are little stuffy and smelly but again you should not expect five star facility at 2-star hotel. Breakfast is good and typical Indian style which I liked it. Beach is next to the hotel and it is clean. No blue water but clean water with very few people.

The service is not that great with frequent power cuts. The room is Just Average with a little Luxury, The Breakfast is just average with a very little spread. Service at "Banyan Tree" restaurant attached to hotel is very poor. The only good thing found at this resort is, it's very calm with plenty of trees (greenery) surrounded the resort. Though , the beach is very calm with no tides...not recommended for those who look for a Beach with lot of active tides.

Bambolim Beach Resort is at very good location. Being the only resort on the beach it will attract lot of tourists; however, the resort seems to be old. The maintenance is not good. Most of the equipment in Gym was not functioning, pool table is not in Use. Swimming pool was good though. The greenery and beach view comes with frogs and worms in the balcony and bathroom. The room at the time of check-in had a frog in the bathroom and lot of dust on the floor. Food is average in restaurant and expensive but the view from restaurant is good. There were lot of power cuts and backup power comes with lot of delay. Linens are not clean enough with lot of stains.

Great location however with lot's of sorrows. One cannot stay for longer due to extreme conditions of the rooms. You need to be demanding and very clear about your hesitation about the conditions.

The location of the hotel is very good. But as it is far from the city much better service is expected. The staff is not trained properly and so do not know the value of the clients.

Ok hotel. Good value for money. Below average food.
