Bambolim Beach Resort - Right on the beach Reviews, Goa

The location of this resort is the best part about it. It is right on the beach which allows you to be by the sea any time you want: dawn or dusk, during breakfast or at dinner. Also, its proximity to the North Goa beaches makes it easy for you to plan out your beach visits very effectively. The Panjim city & the Mandovi River (famous for its cruises & casinos) are just a stone's throw from the resort. The resort itself offers a very pleasant & peaceful atmosphere "far away from the maddening crowd" that will allow you to unwind in a rural backdrop by the Arabian Sea. If you are looking for suaveness in the demeanor of the hotel staff or sophisticated service orientation, you are probably not at the right place. But if you are looking for the simplicity & goodness of Goa, you would find it in abundance in each of the staff members. The greenery is impressively serene. Good value for money.

A good and well maintained hotel. The staff is friendly and courteous and are ever ready to help round the clock.

I wanted a quiet and peaceful holiday and that is exactly what I got. The quietness of the surroundings and the serene beach gave me the perfect vacation to unwind, yet keeping in touch with the outside world through the excellent facilities available in the hotel. Good job.

The room is spacious and clean. And the food is simply awesome.The hotel too, is very good and the staff extremely friendly.

The hotel complex is simply beautiful! The restaurant opens to the beach and hence is easily accessible. My kids had a wonderful time playing in the beach.

The resort was good and their services were excellent but the bathrooms were not up to mark. Except for the bathrooms, everything was good and we enjoyed ourselves a lot.

The following are the salient points that i feel are relevant for the feedback: Good experiences: Private beach: The access to the private beach is the best thing the resort can offer. Buffet: The buffet is good and tasty. Bad experiences: Location: It positions itself as a centrally located hotel but the approach road to the hotel is very bad and deserted. My wife and I feared traveling back to the hotel after 9 pm from the beaches. Hotel Services: The services of the hotel are poor. Following are the few of the instances I faced at the hotel - Cable television: The cable television did not work for three days I was there. I asked the staff for reasons and help but they were non responsive. Restaurant: The hotel boasts of a restaurant but it is only a stop gap arrangement for providing buffet for people in an all paid meal plans. No other orders are serviced properly apart from the buffet. Standard of the room: The standard of the room is just fine. The washrooms/ bathrooms are not properly maintained.
