Balaji's Calangute Resort Reviews Goa

This hotel is situated right off the calangute market road. This market road leads to the beach (Beach is walkable from here) and is in proximity of most other beaches such as Anjuna, Baga, etc. The location is the only plus point of this hotel. Nothing else. Use this as a place to sleep and have outdoor fun and food is in abundance in restaurants around this place. If you are looking for a quality resort to stay in, then this is not the place. The rooms are decent but forget about any good views from the room. There is a garage right next to the hotel on one side and a bit of open land with some coconut trees on the other end. Quality of service is average. I went in christmas season but I felt the 4.5k charged for this place was a bit too much.

We were travelling on a budget holiday during January. The hotel room is very close to the beach and smack in the middle of Calangute Market. The service was prompt but in five days no one arrived to clean the room even once. The washroom shower was broken and hot water was available only in the morning until 10 a.m. The staff was friendly and helpful apart from the cleaning issue. The food is not great but there are plenty of options within two minutes of walking distance. The rooms are very basic and the mattresses have a lot of bed bugs so be prepared with Odomos etc.

Rooms are so dirty and the hotel is so cheap. No service after 7 pm. Bed and furniture is so dirty. My door got locked and I stood outside for 2 hours early morning. I won't come back to this hotel!
