Athreya Ayurvedic Resort Overview - Kottayam Athreya Ayurvedic Resort is surrounded by green paddy fields and swaying palms, an Ayurvedic garden and scenic backwaters. Rooms
Athreya Ayurvedic Resort offers 10 heritage cottages with attached bathrooms. Each of these cottages though traditional in outlook, have all modern attachments like hot and cold water, dressing area, satellite television, telephone and a traditional sit-out. The Royal Cottage is double storeyed with a balcony and comes with all modern amenities like attached bathrooms, hot and cold running water, dressing area, satellite television and telephone. The 9 Deluxe AC Cottage comes with attached bathrooms, hot and cold water, dressing area, satellite television, telephone and balcony. This cottage has convertible/separate entrances is ideal for families with children or 2 couples.

Dining
The resort has a multi cuisine restaurant offering a delicious range of Keralan food.

Facilities
The facilities offered in the resort include a mini conference hall & business centre, library, safety deposit locker, telephone and fax facilities, laundry service, car parking, resident doctor, lady doctor, yoga and meditation hall, internet cafe, souvenir shop and a pharmacy. The resort also has a school for Kalarippayattu, the ancient science of Keralan martial arts.

Besides these, the resort arranges for a host of activities like boating, trekking, cultural programmes, visit to tea, coffee and rubber estates, elephant tours, bamboo rafting, traditional cooking class and campfire on prior request. The resort arranges for a palmist or an astrologer as well.
