Staying in Asia The Oasis Resort at Patnitop is a horrible experience. The hotel looks very old and there is no maintenance. It looks that nobody stays there. Staff is extremely inefficient. They have collected some Tom, Dick and Harry from nearby villages and did not give them any training. We can not make any call from the hotel. EPBAX does not work. To receive a call we have to rush to the reception. They donÂ’t have enough raw material with them. In order to serve us dinner, they took our car to buy raw material from nearby town KUD. They do not have proper blankets. In the mid night we had to ask for extra blankets and blower. The hotel looks like a Dharmashala. I have seen even better dharmashalas. If one is offered to stay in the hotel for free, he or she is not advised to stay in this hotel. Even if one is offered some money for the stay, he or she is not advised to accept the offer.

The hotel staff is very co operative but they are unserstaffed and especially need to hire more people in the kitchen.
