The decor of the hotel is just awesome. We loved staying here. Just the food was expensive. Better to choose accomodation including food.

The Ashoka Tiger Trail consists of a series of very nice cottages. Mine included a porch, sitting room, bedroom and very large and modern bathroom. It was lovely and very comfortable. This is obviously a fairly new resort, and they are in the process of constructing a pool which I'm sure will be lovely when finished. The standard of meals at Ashoka was excellent - some of the best food that I've had over my month in India. The staff were very friendly and attentive, checking regularly if I needed anything. During my stay, I went on a nature walk directly from the resort into the jungle, and saw deer, elephant and monkeys. The resort also provided a jeep safari at dawn, where I saw a tiger - which was more than I was expecting, and they also booked my elephant safari. I was very happy with the standard of accomodation, food and service at Ashoka and would recommend it to others.
