Ankur Resort is located on the main Ranthambhore Road, about 2 kilometres from the Sawai Madhopur Railway Station and bus stand. The Ranthambhore National Park is about 10 kilometres from the resort.
Ankur Resort is a standard 2 star property offering comfortable accommodation to the guests. Surrounded by lush greenery with the Aravalli Hills in the backdrop, Ankur Resort is an ideal option for budget travellers.
Rooms
Ankur Resort offers 56 air conditioned rooms divided across Standard, Deluxe and Cottage categories. The Cottages are stand alone entities encircling a lawn while the Standard and Deluxe rooms all face a patch of greenery. Modestly furnished with tiled flooring, all the Standard and Deluxe rooms are equipped with a television and intercom facility. The attached washrooms have a shower area and with soap and linen provided for. Hot and cold water is also available. The Cottages are larger in size and have a private balcony sit out area. In-room and washroom amenities are the same as Standard and Deluxe rooms.
Dining
Ankur Resort offers a multi cuisine restaurant cum bar with a seating capacity of 100 guests. For dinner, guests are treated to an open air buffet organised on the poolside lawn. A limited room service menu for tea/coffee and snacks is available.
Facilities
Ankur Resort has several facilities to offer guests including a swimming pool, Ayurveda massage centre and gift shop. Other facilities include laundry service, doctor on call and guest car parking. On request, Ankur Resort can assist guests looking for a safari in to the Ranthambhore National Park along with visits to the local village, guided sightseeing tours and horse or camel rides.
Ankur Resort does not accept any credit cards as a mode of payment.
Please note: If you require the hotel to book a jungle safari for you, please provide details of all guests (Guest name / ID number (Passport / Driving License / Pan Card) / Age / Nationality) at the time of hotel booking to facilitate timely booking of the safari.
Note: Due to an animal census being conducted by the Ministry of Forest from April 30, 2009 to May 4, 2009, the Ranthambhore National Park will be open ONLY for afternoon safaris during this time. In addition, the Park will remain closed for both drives on May 8 and May 9, 2009.
The Ranthambore National Park will remain closed from July 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009, due to monsoon season.
