Old, but well maintained

It is pathetic stay at the hotel. Room was not ready at check in time, most of the hotel staff was on leave, location & property maintenance is poor, food quality is below average, service is extremely poor, swimming pool is small & stinking badly. Overall, it is not recommended at all.

Don't go by the exteriors of the hotel. The rooms of this hotel are so well furnished and relaxing that it pleasantly surprises your senses for getting it all in such a small budget! And to add cherry to the cream, the staff goes out of their way to help/assist you.

Hotel Anjani is a pleasure to stay in. My mother and me stayed for 3 nights in a standard room, which was most comfortable. The staff is attentive and nice, there is free internet and the food is good.

The hotel has homely atmosphere and staff is very humble and polite, which gives value for money and the maintenance is good. Little effort is required to tighten early morning room service.

Perfect for a budget hotel in the middle of city where all the activities are. However, approach is an issue.

Good location and good terrace.

The hotel was located on a height above road level which was very cosy and one has to walk upwards on the ghat to locate it. The room booked was an Anjani Suite which was nowhere a suite as per size and amenities. I wonder about the deluxe rooms. The room view had only old nearby deserted houses with a margin of mere 4-5 feet such that anyone from the other house may stretch in our room. We did not use any kind of service from the hotel with a fear of disappointment. The reception staff was not cooperative as he denied our request to change the room for second night even on availability. There were only three couples in entire hotel including us. Although the condition of the hotel was not bad and they tried to keep it clean with hygiene. The breakfast was good and they served as per our choice. Overall not that good place to stay. There are much better options with the similar/ higher price.

This hotel is very nice place to stay, the rooms are comfortable and have very nice decor. The staff is very friendly and helpful you can feel as at home.

Average look from outside but has beautiful cozy rooms.
