Hotel Anjani, Udaipur

Anjani Hotel is actually 300-year-old Haveli, which was been converted into a hotel in 1990. Built like a traditional haveli, it is divided into three parts - Jenana, Riddhi Siddhi and Chitrashala. Although these divisions have lost their utility today, they still bear their peculiar characteristics. The walls are covered with hand paintings, the stairs are narrow and incredibly steep, the ceilings are low. Since the basic design of the haveli has not been tampered with it looks and feels very authentic. Ideal if you want to spend your holiday with a dose of history.

Anjani Hotel is located near the tourist friendly area of Gangaur Ghat, in the centre of the city. The bus stand is 3 km, the railway station 3 km and the airport 20 km away.

Dining
The rooftop restaurant has an enclosed seating area and an open one, which has a great view of Udaipur city on one side and Lake Pichola on the other. The open air section has another smaller terrace from where the view is simply breathtaking. The restaurant is open from 6 am to 11 pm and serves multi cuisine fare, including Rajasthani delicacies. There are pristine white gokhadas here with bougainvillea creeping across. Anjani Hotel organises folk dance performances on request.
