Alps Spa Resort Overview - Dalhousie Location
The Alps Spa Resort is located on Khajjiar Road about 85 kilometres away from the Kangra airport, 85 kilometres from the Pathankot railway station. 3 kilometres away from the Dalhousie bus stop and 1.5 kilomteres away from the Gandhi Chowk market.

One the way to Khajjiar lies a beautiful garden cordoned resort known as the Alps Spa Resort. A flight of stairs from the main road brings you to a wonderland laced with shady trees, manicured lawns and a train of bright coloured flowers. The ancient stone building stands in stark comparison to the vivid garden. Inside, the lobby cum reception area is small and cosy. This leads to the restaurant, which has bright sunlight filtering in. The whitewashed walls are adorned with deer heads, the conquest of the valiant associated with the hotel.

Rooms
The hotel has 27 rooms in total divided into 9 Standard rooms, 6 Semi Deluxe rooms, 6 Deluxe rooms, 1 Family Suite and 2 Suites. The Family Suite is a set of two bedroom joined by an interlinked door. This room does not have a separate living room, but has a seating arrangement in both rooms. Each bedroom is compact and has tiled flooring. Other facilities in the rooms include intercom, satellite television, cabinet, mirror on the wall and an attached bathroom with a bathtub and amenities such as soap, geyser, towels and toilet paper. The Deluxe room is big with tiled flooring, a long sofa, satellite television, cupboard, and luggage rack, small dressing room with mirror on wall and intercom facility. The attached bathroom has a bathtub and amenities such as soap, geyser, towels and toilet paper.

The Suite is again a two room set but one as the living room and the other the bedroom. The living room is nice and has wooden floor, two long sofas and a centre table and a satellite television, mini bar, a study table and an attached bathroom. The bedroom is also all wood but much smaller than the living room and has a double bed, a sofa chair, and study desk cum dressing table. There is a washroom attached to the bedroom as well, but is small with a shower area. You can see the tree house from this room. The Semi Deluxe room is small when compared to the Deluxe room but with the same amenities and facilities.

Restaurant
The multi cuisine restaurant of this hotel is bright and sunny and serves a range of Indian, Chinese and Continental food. The lawn has wrought iron tables and chairs for the guests to enjoy their meals in the open.
