We are happy with our trip except that we have booked and paid for Regency room but got Regent room. So we request you to kindly refund our balance amount.

Food is really bad & there were forced breaks during lunch as there was no one to serve. No hot water available. AC was not working. Not recommended at all, considering the price.

My room had cockroaches. Even though 3 star, the room and bathroom were not in good condition. Working staff was very kind and helpful but reception desk kept on harassing us for missing drinking glasses that they could not find.

The hotel was good and huge. Rooms were spacious but cleanliness could have been better. The food was very good, especially lunch. However they can offer more options in breakfast. They arrange for entertainment and games in the evening which was fun.

Only thing good about the hotel was the room. It was spacious and very nice. One of the best I have seen. Everything else from food to service to entertainment was ordinary and below expectation. Food quality was very poor. For room service, they served dishes covered with tissue paper. I expect better when I am paying nearly Rs. 8000/- for a night. Hot water was available only for a short time. Although I paid for an AC room, the AC did not work at all due to power shortage. Hotel should be refunding me the charges that I paid for the AC room and charge me for the non-AC room instead. Although room had a television, hardly any channels were available. There was no STD facility available at the hotel. Got very poor value for money.

On the important parameters location, food, ambience, service and cost this is surely among the best. Hotel location is near to market so you can go for a short walk to market without much hassle and pain. As anyways all major points are within 5 km from anywhere in Matheran. Food was excellent and more so the service. There is ample variety offered and the buffet for dinner at pool side in really very relaxing after long walks through the day. Housekeeping is excellent, person is at your service within 10 mins.
