The hotel offers guests a wide range of activities, from just relaxing on the beach, to tours of various sites. These include a glimpse into a fisherman's daily life, toddy tapping on site, local bicycle tours, village walks, auto-rickshaw tours, boat tours on the backwaters, and visits to Allepey town as well as Fort Cochin.

Rooms
There are 4 types of cottages available at A Beach Symphony, Khombu, Nagaswaram (wooden house), Violin, and Sitar. In-room amenities include: luxury bed linen, towels, Fab India bathroom products, hot water, tea/coffee maker, luggage rack, water & beer cooler, free mineral cool mineral water, private hammock, sun lounger, and a fully equipped veranda (table, 4 chairs, relaxing chairs). All 4 cottages have a different style and ambiance:
Khombu: sea view cottage with large veranda and open bathroom. Nagaswaram: sea view cottage with large veranda open bathroom and private garden.
Violin: design cottage with super large veranda with built-in seat, half open bathroom with rain shower and private garden.
Sitar: design cottage with large veranda, traditional design bathroom with rain shower & large veranda.

Dining
The boutique resort offers guests meals on the veranda of their cottages, serving quality multi-cuisine fare. Guests also have the option of dining on the beach.
