Preethi Palace Hotel Description

Hotel Preethi Palace is a standard hotel located in the main town of Ooty. An imposing building about 17 years old, the hotel has a small reception and lobby area. The lobby has a single sofa unit, with a 'Ganesha' on its side. The reception is small and also offers travel assistance to the guests.

Rooms
The hotel offers 54 rooms in total divided into Deluxe Suites and 17 Super Deluxe rooms. The Deluxe Suite is a single carpeted room with basic amenities like satellite television, intercom, dressing table, small seating area and room service. The washroom is small with a bathtub, hot water supply (only for 6 hours in the morning and evening) and soap and towels. The Deluxe room is smaller with the same amenities and facilities. Guests can avail heaters at an extra cost in their rooms. Some of the rooms overlook the main road and some offer exclusive view of the valley.

Dining
The Preethi Vegetarian Restaurant of the hotel is located on the lobby level. It is a bright place with multi coloured tassels hanging from the ceiling and tons of pictures on the walls. With a seating capacity of 50 - 60 persons, the restaurant serves an array of multi cuisines like Indian, Chinese and local fare.

Facilities
The hotel has a travel desk and organises day trips, does flight/railway booking and arranges for car rental for the guests. In addition to this, the hotel offers facilities such as same day laundry service, locker at the reception, rooftop parking area and bonfire on request.

Location
Hotel Preethi Palace is located in the main town about 1.5 kilometres away from the bus stand, 2 kilometres away from the railway station and about 100 kilometres away from the Coimbatore airport. The hotel is located a short drive away from the highest peak of Ooty - Doddabetta Peak.
