Meandering away from the dusty main road into a different world altogether, set in a beautiful ambience of green trees and sweet smelling flowers in sync with a quiet and peaceful looking building and indirect pathways disappearing into oblivion, the Tivoli Garden Resort is a world in itself. A huge reception with a gallery is complimented with tall ceilings and huge paintings on the wall. A beautiful flower arrangement at the centre catches attention, so does the loud music from the Trafalgar Bar situated on the right. A flight of stairs disappears behind unknown doors and a glass wall in the gallery leaves one guessing what is beyond.

Rooms
The rooms are not so mysterious, with 59 rooms in total divided into Courtyard Suite, Deluxe Suite, Superior rooms and Liverpool rooms. The Deluxe Suite is an ultimately posh room with wooden flooring in the sitting area and marbled floor in the rest and a bath tub in the room! The sofa unit and centre table and the dining table are placed next to each other, while the bed and the television unit with the mini bar, full length mirror posed opposite to it. Other facilities include a tea coffee maker, cupboard, electronic safe, luggage rack etc. A glass window next to the tub connects the bedroom to the bathroom as does the main wooden door. This room is the ultimate in luxury and is best suited for honeymoon couples. The bathroom has a shower cubicle, phone and a wide range of Biotique amenities like soap, shampoo, lotion, cleanser, bubble bath etc. The Courtyard Suite has been so named because the room opens to a small courtyard like private space with seating facilities. The room is a subtle adaptation of the Deluxe Suite except that this room does not have wooden floors, dining table and a tub in the room. The rest of the facilities of the room and bathroom remain the same.

The Superior room is an exact copy of the Courtyard Suite, only smaller in size and without the courtyard, of course! The facilities of the room and bathroom in this category are the same as well. The Liverpool rooms are a concept in itself, with train bogies converted into rooms! These rooms have an area to themselves, for obvious reasons and are beautiful. Can you believe it, but to conceptualize these rooms, the hotel authorities built mock railway tracks and platforms to give it a realistic effect! And the results are wonderful. The platform now serves as a sit out eating joint of the guests with rod chairs and tables fixed to the ground.

Dining
The hotel has Marbella's, a multi cuisine restaurant situated next to the pool. This beautiful restaurant has a rustic charm to it, probably because of the age old metal chandelier and a gallery, giving it an opera house effect. The hotel serves delicious Indian, Chinese and Continental food and has a sitting area outside, next to the pool as well. The Trafalgar's bar is the hotel's in house bar serving the best of liquor, cocktails and mocktails to make an evening eventful. Located adjacent to the pool deck, La Terraza provides just the right ambience to have informal breakfast, lunch, dinner business meetings or a relaxing Sunday brunch with the family. Breadsmith is the resort's pastry shop and tea lounge providing a variety of breads, tea cakes, doughnuts, tarts, pastries brownies and so on.

Facilities
The hotel has 6 Conference Halls and two open gardens named Oakwood and Oyster. Oakwood on the front side can accommodate 500-700 people, while the Oyster at the backside and more beautiful can accommodate 1000-1500 people. All Conferences and Banquets are backed by state of art service and equipments, which the hotel provides at an additional cost. Besides this, there is a children's play area, travel desk (which has been outsourced), 24 hours laundry and room service, shoe shine facilities, doctor on call etc. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool with a landscaped garden dotted with flowers and a small sitting area adjacent to it.

Located in the Chhattarpur area of Delhi, the resort is conveniently set away from the chaos of the MG Road yet not too far.
