Maidens Hotel is a true Oberoi's Hotel. It's a great heritage property with fantastic hospitality. Cleanliness is simply superb. Both food and service are fabulous. Absolutely true value to money.

  • Maidens Hotel Hotel Description

    A heritage hotel, Maidens Hotel is one of Delhi's oldest hotels. Built in the early 1900s, the hotel retains its colonial charm and architecture. Its spacious rooms with high ceilings are reminiscent of olden days. Set amidst eight acres of lush gardens, shady trees and tennis courts, it escapes the noise of the main city, but remains within easy access to some of the most magnificent Mughal monuments, and famous shopping center Chandni Chowk with its quaint bazaars and meandering lanes.

    The hotel is situated in the North Delhi residential area, lying besides old bungalows with river Yamuna on the east, close to the University of Delhi Campus. The hotel is within walking distance of the main Interstate bus terminal. Late 19th century architectural elegance is reflected in the classical rooms and the elegant restaurants.

    Room Amenities
    The rooms at the hotel are done up in a subtle decor, comprising Superior rooms, Executive suites and Deluxe suites. The Superior rooms have a garden view and feature twin beds. Most of these rooms have separate sitting rooms and bedrooms with spacious attached bathrooms. All rooms are air conditioned and open into verandas, which over-look the gardens. Tastefully furnished with modern furniture and amenities, including mini bar, satellite television and direct dial telephones.

    The Executive Suites spread over 600 square feet comprising a twin bedroom with a separate sitting room. All suites are air conditioned and elegantly furnished with modern facilities like mini bar, 24-hour satellite channels, direct dial telephones, complimentary bottle of mineral water and fruit basket.

    The Deluxe Suites are spread over 1100 square feet comprising a large king or twin bedded room with a spacious drawing and dining facility. All suites are air conditioned and elegantly furnished with modern facilities like minibar, 24 hours satellite channels, DVD player, direct dial telephones, complimentary bottle of mineral water, chocolates and fruit basket.

    Dining
    The hotel houses a restaurant, a bar and a coffee shop. The Curzon Room is named after the British Lord Curzon. Over 100 photographs from the archives adorn the walls and take you on a nostalgic trip of the Raj in India, in the early 1900s. The Curzon Room serves a selection of European and Indian cuisine and a sumptuous buffet at lunch every day. The Garden Terrace is an informal coffee shop, which extends into a charming open courtyard. Relaxed atmosphere, ideal for browsing through books and lazy chats, serves Indian and Continental cuisine. The Cavalry Bar Is an early 19th century bar, small and intimate with a pleasant atmosphere. The bar serves cocktails and beverages to order.

    Hotel Facilities
    The hotel houses a banquet hall with a capacity of about 200 people and a suite with a capacity of about 75 people. The hotel can organise various seating arrangements for different kinds of meetings. The poolside is another venue with a capacity of about 1000 people.

    Other facilities at the hotel comprise laundry service, a swimming pool and a 24-hour room service.

    The hotel is located in North Delhi, in close proximity to historical monuments like the Red Fort, the Jama Masjid etc. It is 5 km from the New Delhi Railway Station.
