The ambience was good but the major setback was the food which was far inferior from the price charged.The room view was pretty good facing the tea estates.

The hotel was good. The entrance & the over all look was good but the room which was provided was not so good as it seemed like I paid a much higher amount for a less than mediocre room.

It's a special occasion for our family. It's my 25th wedding anniversary i.e silver jubilee year and we wanted to spend just for ourselves. ACC was a dream come true place for our family, of me, my wife, son and daughter. It's a picture post card perfect locale for us with a flowing brook that reminded us of our 25 years of wedded life with ups and downs and the mighty hills on front which signified me and my wife, the rock steady marital bond and family togetherness like the lofty hills opposite us. Yes, it's indeed a meaningful stay for the four of us. We had a splendid time. The castle shall be cherished in our memories and to top it all my children wanted the same place for our shashtipoorthy function. Thanks Abad Copper Castle - we enjoyed your hospitality.

Copper Castle is situated at one of the best scenic locationS in Munnar. It is very close to the town where you can spend evenings and yet it is fairly secluded to keep you away from the humdrum and traffic of the road. Rooms though not exactly ideal are good value for the money they charge. Food though a shade expensive is fairly good. Things to improve are: possible entertainment programs for guests in the evenings, a gym and cheaper internet connectivity. But who really cares about connectivity when you are so well connected to nature and self.

It has a very good, picturesque view from the hotel room. The services wwere good but the value for money remains questionable.
Abad Copper Castle Hotel Description
Abad Copper Castle is located on a long winding road and it is the first of hotels, amidst many other on this road. It is an immaculately designed exterior which beckons you in. The drive way slopes downwards on a path flanked by bright flowers. The area spreads over 6 acres.LobbyThe lobby and reception sport dark and earthy colours like copper and red. Even the flooring conforms to the colour of the red brick walls with maroon tiles. One wall is of windows and this allows some natural light to stream in. The seating space is tastefully furnished with green patterned sofas and glass top coffee tables. A smart bronze plate is mounted on the wall behind the reception; this adds some more class to the lobby. A decoration piece consists of a silver urn with imitational plants within its body. Paintings are mounted on the walls with spotlights over them and all is done with grace and charm.RoomsA total of 36 rooms are divided into categories of 33 Deluxe rooms and 3 Suites. Fourteen of the rooms are carpeted while the rest have tiled flooring. 24 rooms have balconies and 3 rooms on the 1st floor have bathtubs in the washrooms. The facilities common to all the rooms are cable television, room service from 6:00 am to 10:30 pm, 24 hours hot & cold running water, direct dial STD/ISD telephones and basic toiletries in the washrooms. The Suites are the larger rooms with a separate seating space, dining table and an added facility of a refrigerator. The Deluxe rooms are smaller with a study table, small seating space and bed. There is one Deluxe room in the hotel which offers a twin bed.Services & FacilitiesThe other services offered by the hotel are a recreation room, meeting room, utility shop, lawn, spacious car park, Ayurvedic health centre, money changer, safe deposit lockers, travel desk, doctor on call and acceptance of major credit cards.DiningThe restaurant serves multi cuisine fare and can accommodate 50 persons. If the occupancy is high in the hotel, they provide a buffet otherwise an a la carte is available for breakfast (7:30 am to 10:00 am0, lunch (12:30 pm to 3:00 pm) and dinner (7:30 pm to 10:00 pm). Every evening, live entertainment can be enjoyed in the form of karaoke performances. Banquets & ConferencesThe conference hall can accommodate 60 persons and is used as a games room with a tennis table when not required for a functions. It is a well maintained space and all audio visual equipment is supplied here at an extra charge.RecreationThe Ayurvedic centre is open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm for ladies and 8:30 am to 7:30 pm for gents. There are trained therapists from a hospital nearby. A children's play area is a place which is safe and parents can leave their children amidst the company of nature. There is also a lawn with a bonfire area which is a beautiful, well manicured space where guests can interact with each other. Bonfires are held in the evenings between 8:00 pm to 9:00 pm. There is also a gift shop open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and offers postcards, handicrafts and items for general convenience. This splendid property is refreshing and comfortable, making the guests feel at ease with their surroundings. The hotel is located on a quiet road and has beautiful views of the valley beyond.LocationIt is located 2.5 kilometres from the main Munnar town, 115 kilometres from the Cochin international airport and 125 kilometres from the Aluva railway station.Don't MissDo spend an evening at the bonfire with the other guests, amidst the lush green plantations, rolling hills and wide valleys.
