The Mirador Hotel Description

An immensely chic hotel, unlike any other hotel in Mumbai, the Mirador though just 5 years old is one of the most stylish hotels of today. Extraordinarily clean and plush, this hotel has a set of rich looking leather sofas on the left, with the reception on the right. The capsule lift is placed at the centre and a little decoration in front of it adds style to the lobby. There is a Travel Desk at the back of the lift as well.

Rooms
The rooms are extraordinarily beautiful here with theme rooms to suite each category. The rooms are uniquely named into Amber Suite, Mirable room, Club Viola and Spa Suite. The Mirable room is a beautifully done room with stylish chair and table, television, mini bar, luggage rack and a master bed with colourful pillows thrown over it. It has a jute lamps, cupboard, tea coffee maker, drinking water, phone, electronic safe etc. Some of the bathrooms in this category have tubs and some don't. Besides this, all other bathroom facilities like soap, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, shower cap are available. The Club Viola is same as the Mirable room but with modern Italian design with additions like drinks and fruit basket on a complimentary basis, fax machine, usage of boardroom facility for 2 hours with the compliments, complimentary pressing of one set of laundry. This room has metal beds and a bar like work on the ceiling. The bathroom is the same as the Mirable room with a tub, slippers and robe along with other amenities. The Amber Suite is a larger room of 320 sq. ft with a 30\" plasma television, fax machine, tea coffee maker, chargeable mini bar and snacks, writing table, Wi Fi in room and Spa facility. This matt finish room is circular from one corner giving a spacious look to the room. The cupboard is designed in a sleek manner, so much so that it perfectly fits into the decor of the room. The bathroom is tidy with moisturizer, shampoo, foam bath, slippers, soap, phone, tub and shaving and dental kit intact. The Spa Suite is a Drawing cum Dining and Bedroom set with a DVD, fax, fruit basket and tea coffee maker in it. The bedroom has a plasma television, master bed and amazing lamps. The bathroom is something to watch out for, with an inbuilt Jacuzzi tub, bathrobe, slippers, sewing, dental and shaving kit, hair brush, foam bath, moisturizer, shower gel, lotion, oil, shower cap, weighing scale, hair dryer and phone! The bathroom is a long glass cabinet with curtains fitted to it. The bathroom leads to an inner door that leads to a Steam room! The safe and cupboard are located opposite the bathroom and is done up with such finesse that it looks like a wall work! Guests staying in this room are entitled to a free half an hour session of 'Tune up Massage', a specialty of this hotel. The Drawing room here is done in a matt look with sofa couches, writing table and television.

Dining
The Biscotti is the hotel's cake shop located next to the lounge and offering a wide range of mouth watering cakes and pastries. The Atrium Lounge is a smart meeting joint with low lying tables and chairs and a round table fixed for the purpose. The furniture and decor of this place is the perfect place for discussions. The Tangerine is a 24 hours (68 pax) multi cuisine restaurant serving buffet and a la carte menu for all the 3 meals. This place also arranges for a midnight buffet only on Saturdays as well! The hotel also has Spiritz, a drinking salon as they call it for 28 covers. The place is cutely done with round shaped comfortable wooden chairs and a bar table, high stool sitting and pale blue and purple walls and ceiling with soft lights to set in the mood.

Facilities
The hotel has 6 Conference Halls by the name of Maple, Oak I, Oak II, Midori, Medler and Cedar. All of them are interspersed in the building from the first to the top floor. The elevator here is swanky too, with touch screen facility!! The hotel also has VIF, a circular shaped modernly equipped workout machines.


The whole hotel is beautiful. All the rooms are a must see, especially the Spa Suite! And the bathroom in the Spa Suite as well.

Location
The hotel is located in Andheri, one of the the main commercial hubs of Mumbai. The domestic airport is 4 kilometres away from here and the international airport about 2 kilometres away. The Andheri railway station is 10 minutes away and the Andheri (W) bus stop is 10 minutes away from the hotel.

The domestic airport is 25 kms from the city center. Taxis and auto rickshaws are readily available outside the terminal building. A free shuttle service to the international airport also operates from here.

Mumbai Central Railway Station (20 Km)

Mumbai Central serves as the southernmost terminus in Mumbai for Western Railway outstation trains, as well as suburban lines. Trains depart from here to Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Delhi, including the Rajdhani trains to Delhi.

Gateway Of India (40 Km)

Built to honour the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to India in 1911, the Gateway has a grand arch in the Indo-Saracenic style with Gujarati and Islamic wooden carvings. It is also the departing point for ferries plying to Elephanta Island.

Nariman Point (40 Km)

A business district, Nariman Point, named after Khurshid Framji Nariman, is the southern most tip of Marine Drive. Business firms such as Air India, Central Bank of India, Indian Express, Mittal Towers and the Oberoi Hotel are situated here.

Juhu Beach (20 Km)

This beach located along Juhu Road is famous for the Chowpatty, a heavenly corner for food junkies. A favourite with children and adults alike, it has an amusement park, play ground and an open air restaurant. Camel rides further add to the charm.

Vashi (20 Km)

Vashi is a beautiful township in Navi Mumbai. It was one of the first nodes developed by CIDCO in the city. Vashi directly connects to Mumbai across Thane creek and has grown to become the commercial hub here amidst the area’s booming real estate.

Bandra (7 Km)

A posh residential complex, Bandra is referred to as the Queen of the Suburbs. Bandra is linked with Linking Road, a popular shopping hub. The Mount Mary Basilica and Band Stand along the Arabian Sea are located in the vicinity.

Fort (40 Km)

A large part of south Mumbai is known as Fort because of the strong impression of the colonial British architecture in the area.

Malad (15 Km)

Thirty kms from Mumbai, Malad is popular for Marve, Aksa and Erangal beaches where the famous Raheja Group of Hotels is located. A new attraction here is a movie theater called Movietime, which screens all the latest Hollywood and Bollywood flicks.
