Hotel Metro Palace is managed by Unique Hotels and is a 3 star property with 5 floors. It is 20 years old and offers a selection of spic and span rooms with all the basic services and amenities.

Lobby

A stone and wood waterfall is a stunning feature at the drive in area of the hotel. A warm inviting lobby welcomes you when you step into the hotel. A brown marble slab gives a great look to the reception with a painting in watercolours running the length of the lobby behind the reception. The painting depicts ethnic Indian celebrations and folk dances. A beautiful crystal chandelier hangs from the ceiling while the seating space adds a dash of smartness with 2 maroon sofas and a centre glass table with a wooden carved base. A window runs along the side of one wall with woodwork along the edges.

Rooms
A total of 35 rooms are divided into 25 Standard Rooms 9 Deluxe Rooms and 1 Executive Suite. All the rooms have cable television, direct dial local telephones, air conditioners, hot and cold running water and refrigerators. The Deluxe Rooms have brown curtains and bedcovers and the walls behind the beds are wooden. Only the Executive Suite in the hotel has a bathtub in the bathroom. The Executive Suite is a smart room and is the highest category in the hotel. On entering the room you step into a seating area with one triple seater sofa and 2 single seater sofas. A smart glass top dining table, large refrigerator and a very innovative, contemporary stone & wrought iron coffee table also occupy this area. It features 2 split unit air conditioners. The room is a long rectangular space and the bedroom is at an elevated level with a mirror along the right side of the bed. A bubble glass window is present of the left side of the bed which is the bathroom. A modern art painting adorns the wall at the head of the bed. The bathroom is another long space which is artistically designed with the bathtub and fixtures in black. These 2 rooms can be separated or joined with the curtain partition. This is one of the best rooms in the hotel and is worth a stay in.

Dining
There is the Temptation pub which is open from (11:00 am to 11:30 pm). It is a multi cuisine pub which serves snacks and light meals. This place is dimly lit with sunlight streaming though the windows during the day. There is a black marble slab at the bar with high bar stools. There are mirrors along the entire length of one of the walls. The tables here are with a glass top with steel bases and wooden chairs. The pillars in the room are of an interesting blue colour.
There is also the Independence Caf which is open from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm. An a la carte is available here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a separate entrance for this caf from the exterior of the hotel. It is a cool, open and airy space with beige marble tops on the tables and wooden chairs. A plasma television sits on the wall at the end of the room.

This hotel is for the leisure traveler and will prove to be a good time for someone looking for fun.

Location
This hotel is in the heart of Bandra and the sea shore is a 10 minute drive from the hotel. The airport is a mere 15 minutes away while the local railway station and bus terminal are just 5 10 minutes away.
