Lobby
On entering the hotel you step into a neo classical lobby and the tranquil ambience here will soothe you instantaneously. The interiors of the hotel are quite grand. At the entrance of the hotel is the reception which is an approachable space and a solid plank wooden staircase leading to a variety of restaurants on the 1st level. The lobby is a sunken surface area with a blue, contemporary printed carpet. Large comfortable beige sofas with blue trimmings beckon you to sit and relax. The seating area is complimented with stylish glass top centre tables. The ceiling here is very high like an atrium. High marble pillars stand tall while mirrors on the wall add more space to this area. A huge centre wooden showpiece stands at the centre of the seating area and stop it is placed a magnificent, larger than life flower arrangement. Paintings on mime artists are present on the walls and are aptly lighted with spotlights above them. These paintings add a charm to the hotel. With everything very tastefully and exotically set up, your first impression of the hotel can never be negative.

With 68 tastefully appointed rooms and suites providing spectacular views of the city, sea and the Queen's Necklace, you can expect a level of personalized service that is refreshingly different. There are Sea Facing Deluxe rooms, Superior rooms, Regular Suites, Executive Suites and Special Suites. The Special Suites are the largest rooms and hold the luxury of a dining table, fax machine and printer which is not present in the other rooms except for the dining table and fax machine in the Deluxe Suite as well. The Deluxe Suites are stylish spaces and are partially sea facing. The room that welcomes you when you enter has marble flooring. A glass top dining table with a wood base and two chairs with beige upholstery are exhibited here. A beige sofa and centre glass top coffee table add to the charm in this space. There is a wall with a mirror and wood paneling around the mirror beside which the dining table is placed. A study table and mini bar is also present in this area. All the rooms in the hotel also have wireless and broadband connection. This room leads to the bedroom which is fully carpeted with a smart checked multi coloured pattern. Sunlight streams into this room through the large windows on one wall. A gold and black floor coat hanger elegantly stands at the side of the room. There is another lounge in sofa in the bedroom, large maroon and brown cushions on the bed and brown and beige curtains with a white georgette lace. Healthy plants are also placed in the rooms where sunlight streams in. The attached bathrooms are in black marble and have black and grey amenities. The services offered in the bathrooms are hot and cold running water, bathrobe and slippers, a razor kit, dental kit, comb and all the luxuries possible. The Special Suites are much larger in size and have added facilities like an in room library, where in the guests can choose from their selection of coffee table books from housekeeping. They are also soundproof and have a magnificent view of the sea and Marine Drive. A magazine and newspaper rack is also present here. All the rooms also have 2 smoke detectors, fire exit plans on the doors, cable television, mini bar, direct dial STD/ISD telephones and 24 hours room service. There are 4 inter connecting rooms on each floor for larger families and friends.

Dining
While at the Hotel Marine Plaza, experience Mumba''s most popular food and beverage outlets. The variety of choices include Geoffrey's which is the quintessential English pub offering a wide range of spirits in an atmosphere of casual elegance. All this is accompanied by your favourite retro sounds be it an after work drink, a night out, an intimate meal or a power lunch. The pub is open from 11:30 am to 1:30 am. This pub is done up with sports paraphernalia on the walls with pictures of sports superstars along side. The bar is an oval shaped area with a black marble slab and overhead space for hanging glasses. Also, every afternoon except for Sundays a Corporate Lunch Buffet is served which includes a cheese platter, pastas, salads and deserts. This buffet is delicious and can be availed at a very nominal price. The Corporate Buffet is served from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. The Bayview is a 24 hour multi cuisine restaurant with a breathtaking view of the ocean. It offers a wide variety of cuisines as well as sumptuous breakfast (7:00 am to 10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm to 3:00 pm), dinner (7:30 pm to 11:00 pm) and midnight (12:00 midnight to 3:00 am) buffet. A pastry shop open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm offers cookies, cakes and pastries that literally melt in your mouth. Last but not the least is The Oriental Blossom which is one of Mumbai's finest Chinese specialty restaurant is the home of authentic Cantonese and Szechwan delicacies. The restaurant is divided into separate intimate spaces with glass and wood wall compartments. Oriental instrumental music plays here on a regular basis and this place adds serenity and calmness to the hotels exuding charm.

Conference & Banquets
The Plaza Room and Bayview 1 are ideal venues for banquets and conferences for up to a 150 people. For the corporate traveller there is a state of the art Business Centre which is open 24 hours and comes complete with efficient secretarial and infrastructure support and 2 exclusive board rooms. Photocopying, fax machine, printers are all available here. The Business Centre is smartly upholstered in brown and black.

Health Club
A gym which is free for in house guests is available within the hotel premises. It is an ideal way to unwind and de - stress yourselves. The timings of the gym are from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

The Allamanda Terrace is the hotels best feature with an enchanting banqueting venue under the stars, with a glass bottom swimming pool and a stunning view of the Mumbai skyline. This area has an open air function hall. On one end of the terrace stands a stone dome which serves as a stage for performances during parties. The pool is at a height here and looks refreshingly inviting year round. The pool is open for use from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. A high rise bar is also present with a wood panel behind it and an innovative design with green and white designs.
