The hotel is one of the few good hotels at Kumarakom. The entire setting is done in traditional Kerala style. The reception, although not very grand, is spacious and has plenty of check in counters to avoid any wait. The rooms are spacious but can have some more amenities and decor. The best part are the pool villas. Pool villas open directly into a long curving swimming pool whcih gives a private pool feeling and a perfect ambience for a romantic holiday. The bathrooms are again spacious but there are no bath tubs. Food is authetic Kerala with some choices of Continental. I think they can improve on the food choices. The best part is service. I think they have redefined the standard of service. The staff is very efficient and helpful.
