Suicide Point & Golf Course
Suicide point is located 5 km from the lake, and is now known as Green Valley View. A spectacular view is available here of the plains below & the Vaigai Dam. The Golf Club is nearby, which visitors can use as temporary members.
Pine Forest(Cine Shooting Place)
Kodaikanals Pine Forest is a popular tourist attraction, located on sloping terrain. This lush green area is grassy and beautiful, and has been the location of many movies, for love songs and action scenes both.
Coakers Walk
Coakers Walk is a narrow pedestrian path thats known for its scenic views constructed by Lt. Coaker in 1872. It is a 1 km mountain road which runs along the edge of steep slopes on the southern side of Kodai road, and is about 0.5 km away from town.
Kodaikanal Lake and Brayant Park
Kodaikanal Lake is an artificial star shaped lake built in 1863. It is close to the centre of town. Boats and riding horses can be hired. Nearby is Bryant Park, a beautiful botanic garden with many rare species of flora, with an annual show in May.
Upper Lake View
The Upper Lake View in Kodaikanal is a popular spot from where tourists and locals alike catch a glimpse of the lake from above. From here, it is possible to apprehend the star-shape of the Kodaikanal Lake.
Bus Stand
The Kodaikanal Bus Stand is a modern terminus with the latest infrastructure. Regular bus services are available to Madurai, Palani, Theni, Dindigul, Tiruchirapalli, Thekkady and Coimbatore. Additional buses ply during the season.
