Location
Hotel Kodai International is located adjacent to the Theni-Kodaikanal state highway, just a kilometre away from the Kodai Lake. It lies close to the bus stand and the main market, providing easy access to all centres of tourist interest.

A 3 star property, Hotel Kodai International offers the best in modern luxury without losing the essence of traditional Indian culture. It has been created keeping in mind the highest level of comforts required by guests but it also tries to provide them with a level of traditional rural and natural awareness. Spread across 14 acres, the hotel is designed in a manner where every concrete block has a green patch alongside to maintain a balance.

Rooms
All rooms are luxuriously furnished and well appointed with modern amenities including a colour television, direct dial telephone, spacious cupboard, dressing table and a sit out balcony. The hotel has 20 Standard rooms, 25 Deluxe rooms, 12 Deluxe Cottages, 6 Royal Cottages and 6 Royal Suites. The Cottages and Suites have wooden flooring, a separate living room and a bedroom besides additional amenities like a refrigerator. The Royal Suite has an in-built heater, mini bar and bathtub besides all other amenities. Bathroom amenities are the same across all categories and include a dental kit, shaving kit, shower cap, soaps, shampoo, moisturiser, talcum powder, cotton swabs and hair oil. Hot water is available round the clock and all rooms are provided with laundry bags and a shoe shine mitt.

Dining
Dining facilities include Orchard, a multi cuisine restaurant serving Chinese, Continental, Mughlai, Tandoori, South Indian and Gujarati cuisines. While the restaurant is open for breakfast (7:30 am-10:30 am), lunch (12:30 pm-3:30 pm) and dinner (7:30 pm-10:30 pm), a portion of the restaurant serves as a 24-hour coffee shop. Room service is available round the clock for the convenience of guests. The hotel also has a bar, Oasis and as the name suggests, this thirst quencher has on offer a wide variety of alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic beverages. It is open from 11 am to 11 pm on all days.

Conferences & Banquets
Conference facilities include two well-equipped conference halls of which the bigger hall, Coaker's Hall has a seating capacity of 200 persons. Keeping in sync with the overall mood of the place, the hall has a traditional design with local paintings and murals lining the walls. It has an in-built audio system that has been made to order for better performance. The hotel also offers secretarial services and banquet facilities. An open area adjoining the lobby has been fitted with disco lights and a sound system and serves as a stage. It lies between the lobby and the lawns, making it ideal for organising theme parties, cultural shows and performances.

Hotel Facilities
For recreation, the hotel has facilities for board games, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball and billiards. There is a health club with a gymnasium, massage parlour, herbal steam and acupunctural shower. It is open from 6 am to 11 am in the morning and 4 pm to 8 pm in the evening. While use of the gymnasium is complimentary for resident guests, the massage and steam are chargeable at Rs. 750 plus taxes. For those interested in a workout in the open, there is a jogging track that runs all along the periphery of the hotel and encompasses all of 14 acres! Sightseeing tours, movie screenings, bonfire parties, barbeque dinners and dance/music performances are also organised on request.

This is the ideal place for nature enthusiasts as it has its own nursery, flower gardens, lawns, fruit trees and a few animals too! The hotel has pet rabbits that roam the lawns and ducks that live near a pond formed by a natural waterfall. Besides these, it has a Vegetation Area, which has a variety of plants and vegetation of the area. This plot is used to give a glimpse of Kodaikanal's natural flora to city folks. All this lies within the premises of the hotel.

Other facilities that are available include a car rental service, pick and drop facility (chargeable) and laundry service.

Don't Miss
The Ganesha temple located within the hotel premises. A small structure, it has exterior designs similar to most famous temple of South India. With sculptures, murals and use of beautiful colours, it is a must see.
