The hotel's ambiance is amazing. Service is very good. Reaching the hotel is a difficulty as it is way outside the city. The cleanliness of the room and amenities leave some more to be desired, as this is a 5 star resort. I am sure if they concentrate on this they will be able to make this one great experience.

It's a very good place. We are planning to visit there again with our family. The best part is the village adjoining the hotel. There is a little bit of carelessness related to the bathrooms, like taps were not working properly, but that's fine, we complained about it at the reception.

The hotel is good. For room service, the menu isn't good and it takes a lot of time but if you eating in the restaurant it's good. Good rooms with large bathrooms and a bathtub as well. Nice place to go for 2 days as you have a lot to do.

Good surroundings but the rooms need some or the other renovation.

The rooms are nice and the facilities are great for kids, particularly the Village. However, the quality of the food is poor, the general hygiene needs improving and the swimming pool is a bit grubby. Could do with a few more green areas too.

  • Chokhi Dhani - The Ethnic Village Resort Hotel Description

    Location
Chokhi Dhani is located 19 kms out of the city, on the highway leading to Tonk. It is approximately 6 kms away from the airport and 15-17 kms from the railway station and Sindhi Camp bus stand. The main business district and shopping areas of Jaipur are easily accessible.

The first thing that strikes you when you see it from the road for the first time is, 'what's so great about this place But it is upon entering this place that the whole charm sinks in. What strikes you the most is the \ intricate pattern, design and planning of the Chokhi Dhani Village and the passion which with it has been constructed, starkly visible to the eyes. It is a mere half an hour's drive from the Pink Pearl Amusement Park & Resort.

A blend of rustic environment with modern day amenities, Chokhi Dhani is a miniature Rajasthani village resplendent in vibrant colours and an even colourful life. Buland Darwaza (strong door) is, as the name suggests the main entrance of the village resort, with huge gates and a mustached sentinel. Upon entering, you will feel as if you are in an entirely different world!

    Lobby
The lobby or Kotri is one of the brightest and most colourful rooms you will ever see with bamboo net ceiling, mud plastered walls adorned with Rajasthani paintings and murals, rural artifacts and carved furniture - all depicting the richness of Rajasthan.

    Rooms
Chokhi Dhani has 65 well adorned double occupancy cottages and 8 Haveli Suites, all air-conditioned with attached bathrooms, running hot and cold water, telephone, satellite television, tea kettle, mini bar etc. There are the Executive Cottages, a small dwelling with a jhula (swing) outside the hut. Inside, the rooms are colourfully done. The bathrooms are spotless with a basin, pot and tub. The Shekhavati Haveli Suite brings to mind, the imagery of aristocrats or landlords living in luxury at the expense of the poor peasants. There is a small courtyard in the middle of the haveli with sunlight pouring in, in all its glory.

    Services & Facilities
Besides the room facilities, the village resorts provide a host of other facilities such as laundry service, foreign exchange counter, parking space, shopping arcade, camel safari, medical service, coach service from airport and city, recreation room with Billiards, table tennis, darts, chess etc.

    Dining
Bindola is a dining restaurant, where lavish dinners are hosted with live ghazals to entertain the guests. Bar be que, the open air bar is beautiful with candles as the only source of light under the star lit sky. Imagine sipping your choicest wine or spirit and cocktail with the cool breeze blowing faint Rajsthani music to your ears! Heavenly! The Chandni Mahal Bar is the hotels enclosed bar. A flight of stairs underground and you enter a room with ceilings studded with mirrors with silver furniture and lacquer work, a royal grandeur indeed. The Aaroga sa is a specialty restaurant serving the best Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisine. Cooked in the richest of spices, delicious none the less, the meals here will easily be the best you would have had in a long time.

On venturing out in to the premises of the hotel you will stumble upon the open stage, where all cultural programmes are hosted. There is also a swimming pool, more like an enclosure, covered on all sides only open from top, with the blue sky reflecting in the crystal water below. Adjacent to the pool is the gymnasium; steam and sauna bath and massage rooms where all kinds of Ayurveda and international massages are done by experts.

    Conferences & Banquets
The village resort's conference hall, Mandani, is modern with all infrastructural facilities and is ideal for all corporate meets and Sajjan Goth, is the ideal venue for a board meeting or a small conference.

The beauty and charm of this hotel will leave you awestruck. There is enough to take in even after your visit to the hotel once your vacation is over. Truly, a chance to avail.
