The Kenilworth Beach Resort & Spa Hotel Description

The Kenilworth Beach Resort & Spa is a decade old property that spans 14 picturesque acres. The hotel has 107 centrally air conditioned rooms, of which 104 Deluxe rooms, two Deluxe Suites, one Presidential Suite and six Luxury Tents on the beach front during season.

Enter the modern colonial style architecture hotel and be welcomed by a waterfall cascading on black granite with small fountains springing up amidst water lilies surrounding it. Leading up to the lobby, there is a fountain and rockery with leafy palms in the central area, giving the space a courtyard feel. There is a reception console on the right and further on, there are various seating alcoves with cane sofas and chairs.

Rooms
The Deluxe and Garden View rooms, located on the ground floor are simple and stylish and have a Portuguese feel with cane furniture including a twin or double bed, a study table, a seating area and coffee table, a large wardrobe, a ceiling fan and an attached balcony with two chairs and a small table. The in-room amenities include a tea/coffee maker, electronic safe, minibar and a telephone. The bathrooms have bathtubs with toiletries like soap, shampoo and moisturiser provided for. The Superior Deluxe rooms are similar and offer a few more in-room amenities like a snack basket, cookies and mineral water bottles.

Brightly done, the Luxury Tents have twin beds, a bedside table, a seating area outside and inside the tent and a luggage stand. The in-room features include air conditioning, television, tea/coffee maker and an attached bathroom with a shower area and blue pottery accessories.

The Suites, Executive and Presidential are impressive. The interiors are as magnificent as the views outside. The area is divided into a living area, a bedroom and balcony. The living are has a sofa, armchairs and a coffee table, a study table and a bookshelf console and the bedroom has a large king size bed.

Facilities and services offered in all the rooms include chargeable internet connectivity, housekeeping services twice a day, 24 hour room service, a valet service and laundry.

Health & Spa
The Kenilworth Beach Resort & Spa has the largest swimming pool in Goa, all of 17,500 square feet. In addition to a waterslide and children's pool, there is also an open air Jacuzzi at the poolside. Other recreational activities include bicycles on hire and water sports like wind surfing, parasailing, scuba diving and snorkeling.

Agua, the Spa is where guests can relax and rejuvenate. Offering a host of services including aromatherapy, Swedish, Balinese and Ayurveda massages, the interiors are soothing with wafting smells of lemongrass oil in the air and the subtle use of candles, water and flowers to create a serene environment. The Spa also has separate steam and sauna rooms and Jacuzzi tubs for men and women. Attached to the Spa is a unisex salon that offers various salon treatments by professionals.

Recreation
R.E.D. is the Recreation, Entertainment and Dance centre. It houses a fitness centre with the latest equipment including treadmills, multi gym machines and exercise cycles. There is also an in-house fitness instructor available. The disco is modern with an art deco look and feel with steel pillars and while upholstery. There is a well stocked bar with bar stools and seating around the dance floor along with a DJ console. Guests can also try their luck in the casino area, with its slot machines. There is also Play Station, the video game room that also has an air hockey table.

Dining
Guests of the Kenilworth Beach Resort & Spa can choose from several dining options. The Lobby Bar on the lobby level is a bar and casual lounge where guests can enjoy a drink. The Palms is the 24 hour multi cuisine coffee shop on the ground floor and opens out into the lawns. Besides the pool swim up bar, there is Aquarius, the poolside cafe. At Bar-Be-Que, guests can enjoy a live grill counter and sizzlers. For a local fare, Sea Hawk on the beachside serves a delicious spread of seafood delights for dinner. Galaxee serves exclusive dinner buffets, while Mallika is a traditional Indian specialty restaurant.

Facilities
Conference and banquet facilities at the hotel include Regency that can accommodate 200 persons and lawns by the poolside for outdoor functions. There is also a fully equipped business centre.
