It is the closest beach to Goa s capital, Panaji. It has lovely golden soft sand, and is encapsulated by palm trees. It is near the estuary of the Mandovi River and palm groves provide soothing shade. Miramar in Portuguese stands for viewing the sea.

Baga Beach (40 Km)

An extension of Calangute beach, Baga is where all the action is. Locals and tourists alike do it all here: swim, indulge in watersports, or walk the curvy shore. It also has great shacks, such as Britto s. Anjuna is just past the cliffs to the north.
