Santana Beach Resort Hotel Description

The 3 year old Santana Beach Resort is located at Candolim in an expanse of lush green lawns and against the sound of the waves from the sea. The resort is nicely cuddled into a row of buildings each housing a couple of rooms ensuring complete privacy. The reception area is done up like a shack and serves as the lobby with a small library and a phone booth.

Rooms
The resort offers 38 rooms in total divided between 5 Deluxe rooms, 2 Partial Sea View rooms and the remaining being Standard rooms. Also in the pipeline are 5 Superior Deluxe rooms, which will be operational soon. The rooms are categorised on the basis of their size and some extra amenities. All the rooms are equipped with a satellite television, telephone, air conditioners, tea coffee maker, mini bar, sofa cum bed and balconies. Some of the rooms are sea facing while others are garden facing. The Standard room is spacious with a tiled floor adorned with a double bed, cupboard and luggage rack in addition to the facilities mentioned above. The Deluxe room and the Partial Sea View room are similar and come with a separate living room. The bedroom houses the satellite television and the telephone. The washroom though small, is clean and equipped with basic amenities like soap, shampoo and towels.

Dining
Tucked within the winding pathways of the resort lies the Olegario's bar stacked with a range of domestic and international liquor. A small walk to the poolside brings you face to face to face with the Olegario's Restaurant, an open restaurant with the typical Goan shack appeal. The restaurant offers good Indian, Chinese and local sea food. Beyond this lies a huge expanse of a well manicured lawn interspersed with multi coloured flowers. During season, the hotel opens the Calamari shack, a multi cuisine outlet right on the Candolim beach.

Facilities
One thing that is hard to miss here is the small but beautiful swimming pool. The onset of the pool next to the lawn and restaurant makes it more appealing. A quick swim and you can head for a wholesome meal into the restaurant. The hotel offers a whole range of facilities like a foreign exchange counter, Ayurvedic massages, sightseeing and excursion trips, laundry and housekeeping services, travel assistance, locker facility, car rental services and a huge parking area. During season time, the hotel also arranges for live music for guest entertainment.

Location
The Santana Beach Resort is located at Dando Candolim in North Goa. The Dabolim airport is 45 kilometres away, Thivim railway station 18 kilometres away, Panjim 11 kilometers away and the bus stop, just a 2 minute walk away. The resort is within walking distance from the Candolim beach.
