Ondas Do Mar Beach Resort Hotel Description

Literally meaning 'Waves of the Sea' in Portuguese, Ondas Do Mar Beach Resort is a quaint beach side resort located in Calangute, in North Goa.

Rooms
The resort offers accommodation in 30 air conditioned Studio rooms, all equipped with television and telephone. All the rooms have an attached washroom with hot and cold running water and toiletries and linen provided for. The rooms also have an attached balcony. Room service is also available.

Dining and Facilities
Guests of the resort can enjoy their meals at the multi cuisine restaurant 'Chef-e-tte' that serves Goan, Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes. In the evenings, the pool side tandoor serves grilled delights.

Ondas Do Mar Beach Resort is located on Holiday Street in Gauravaddo, Calangute, Bardez in North Goa. It is conveniently locate near a supermarket and restaurants in the area. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the resort. Ondas Do Mar Beach Resort is approximately 45 kms from the airport, 23 kms from Thivim railway station and 18 kms from Panjim city.

Dabolim Airport (40 Km)

Located 29 kms from Panjim, some airport facilities include currency exchange, a book shop, handicrafts emporium, a duty free shop and facilities for the physically challenged. There is a prepaid taxi stand within and outside the premises.

Panjim CIty (4 Km)

Visitors usually give Panjim a miss from their itineraries, not aware of its quaint old district. Fontainhas still retains a Portuguese air with colourful houses and old churches. Clean and not congested, the city is unlike any other.

Calangute Beach (1 Km)

Located in North Goa, it s one of the most popular beaches, and thousands throng to it every year. It has some of the best shacks to eat and drink at – like Tito s, Mambo s, and the ever delightful Souza Lobo s. Fort Aguada is also visible at one end.

Anjuna Beach (4 Km)

Anjuna Beach is one of the most famous beaches of Goa. It is adjacent to the beautiful Chapora Fort, and has a well frequented weekly flea market. This is the only beach where semi-nude sunbathing is allowed. It is surrounded by rocks on either side.

Vagator Beach (5 Km)

There are black lava rocks and soft white sand, surrounded by a lush green landscape and palm trees. Vagator was one of the most secluded beaches in Goa, it is now almost as well frequented as Baga. The 500 yr old Chapora Fort is accessible nearby.

Mapusa City (12 Km)

13 kilometers north of Panaji, Mapusa is the favoured destination for most tourists that visit Goa as it is closest to all the beaches, like Calangute, Anjuna and Baga. However, it also has a vibrant weekly market attended by locals and tourists alike.

Panjim Bus Station (12 Km)

In the center of Panaji, this bus station is the heart of GoaÂ’s circulatory system. Outbound bus travel is easiest from here. Government and private companies offer luxury, air-con and sleeper buses to Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Gokarna and Mangalore.

Baga Beach (3 Km)
