Hotel Sun n Sand is perched atop a small hillock in Panjim, next to River Mandovi. An elevator takes you to the lobby level of the hotel, the porch of which is actually a giant swimming pool. The lobby cum reception area is very stylish and you can see the pool and the river beyond through the glass windows in the lobby. The lobby has a huge chandelier and plush sofas, while music plays in the background. There is an extended lobby on the same floor.

Rooms
The hotel offers 43 rooms in total divided into Superior rooms, Superior River View rooms, Suite rooms and Deluxe rooms. The Superior River View room and the Superior room are the same except for the view and as the name suggests, the Superior River View room overlooks the Mandovi River, while the Superior room overlooks the lawn or Panjim city. Both of these rooms are delicately furnished with wood, jute and wrought iron furniture blended together. These rooms have a plasma television fixed on the wall. Other amenities in these rooms include tea coffee maker, telephone, and electronic locker, and mini bar, data port, Wi Fi internet, weighing scale, cupboard and a luggage rack. The washroom is equally beautiful and spacious too, and has amenities such as a hair dryer, magnifying glass, shower gel, shampoo, moisturiser, telephone and a 24 hours supply of hot and cold water. The Suite is a spacious two bedded room, one as the living room and the other, the bedroom. The living room has a sofa unit and lavishly furnished with a tea coffee maker and telephone. The bedroom has a plasma television fixed to the wall and has the electronic locker, mini bar, data port, Wi Fi internet, weighing scale, cupboard and a luggage rack all placed in this room. Both the bedroom and the living room open to the balcony, from where you get a clear view of the Mandovi River. The washroom is the same as above with bathroom slippers as an additional amenity. The Deluxe room is a larger room comprising of a separate living and bedroom area. The living room has a wall cabinet, cupboard and a luggage storage rack and opens to the balcony. The bedroom houses the dressing table, writing desk, satellite television, phone, tea coffee maker, Wi Fi internet and a mini bar. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a glass partition between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom. The amenities in the bathroom include a hair dryer, magnifying glass, shower gel, shampoo, moisturiser, telephone and a 24 hours supply of hot and cold water.

Dining
Aqua is the hotel's multi cuisine restaurant and bar, which is open 24 hours a day. The restaurant serves an authentic Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian and Goan cuisine and can accommodate a total of 40 persons. The restaurant is located on the lobby level and has glass walls on all sides and the swimming pool and the River Mandovi is clearly visible from here. The bar serves the choicest selection of domestic and international liqueur all throughout the day. A bar-be-que counter stands next to the swimming pool, which is open during the season. The hotel also has a coffee shop as well, for snacks and pastries.

Facilities
The hotel has a well maintained swimming pool with a Jacuzzi and a pool bar in a corner. The hotel also has a conference hall with a seating capacity of 70-80 persons, backed with a competent secretarial service and the latest audio visual equipment, public address systems. There is a gymnasium here as well that remains open from 7 am till 8 pm.
