Built in characteristic Goan architectural style, the decade old Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort is a haven for luxury lovers with its exquisite decor, luxurious comfort and a breathtaking view. The resort houses well appointed, luxurious apartments fitted with all modern amenities and also a plethora of entertainment options and outside activity. With dance classes, art and craft, Yoga and meditation, a sauna, and pool table being some of the things you can indulge in while at the resort, it is ideal for taking a break.

Room Amenities
The hotel houses 205 air conditioned rooms and suites with attached balconies divided into four categories - Studio rooms, Hotel Unit rooms, Single Bedroom Apartment and Double Bedroom Apartment. The Studio Apartment can accommodate 3 adults and offers privacy for a couple. This room is compact with 2 sofa chairs, a double bed, a telephone, television, mini bar, tea coffee maker, dressing table, cupboard, safety deposit locker and a luggage rack. The washroom has a shower area with modern amenities like soap, shampoo, moisturiser, talcum powder, shower gel, hair dryer, magnifying mirror and hot and cold water supply. The Single and Double Bedroom Apartment is ideal for a larger family preferably of 4 or 6 people respectively. These apartments include a dry kitchenette, a sofa cum bed, a double bed (2 double beds in the case of a Double Bedroom Apartment), a telephone, a television, mini bar, tea coffee maker, dressing table, cupboard, safety deposit locker and a luggage rack. The washroom has a shower area with modern amenities like soap, shampoo, moisturiser, talcum powder, shower gel, hair dryer, magnifying mirror and hot and cold water supply.

Dining
The Waterfield Cafe on the lobby level is a purely la carte restaurant and has a seating capacity of 125 persons : 100 inside the restaurant and 25 by the Palm Grove swimming pool. The restaurant has a section on pastries as well. The Tamara is the hotel's buffet restaurant with a seating capacity of 165 persons. A unique feature of this restaurant is that it has a live counter here, so that guests can see the chefs make their choicest delicacies in front of their eyes. The Unwinding bar at the lobby level has cosy cane and wood furniture that creates a relaxed environment to sample an extensive range of cocktail, mock tail, liqueur and alcohol. The Dune Shack at the resort beach (operational only during the season) serves Indian, Chinese, Continental and traditional Goan cuisine and a whole lot of liquors.

Facilities
Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort houses two swimming pools called Palm Grove and Sunset Pool, the latter of which is a 3-level swimming pool. There is a Jacuzzi and a pool bar next to the Sunset Pool as well. The resort has a Health Club which houses a sauna, steam room, table tennis, a pool table and also an Ayurvedic massage centre. The new gymnasium has been created and now it has a personal trainer and all modern equipments to guide the guests for a proper and monitored work out session.

The resort has facilities for a plethora of outdoor activities such as cricket, cycling, skating, trekking, golf, jet skiing, splash board, rock climbing, overnight camping, rappelling, volleyball, banana ride, parasailing, windsurfing, dolphin ride, water skiing, food & shopping, clay pigeon shooting, and water sports. The hotel also provides bicycles on hire.

Indoor entertainment options also abound at the resort including board games, giant chess, table tennis, video games, cards and carom.

The resort organises classes for Yoga, magic classes, guitar classes, clay modelling, thermocol cutting, dance classes, glass painting, face painting and swimming classes.

Other facilities include a library, children's play area, Crocodile Club children's play room, souvenir shop, cyber cafe and Tarot card readers and astrologers available only on prior appointment. Besides this, the resort has the Blue Springs lawn, which is the ideal venue for a lively party for about 50 - 60 persons. In addition to the above, the resort is going to start a Casino and a discotheque soon.

Location
The Club Mahindra Varca Beach Resort is located at the Varca Village in South Goa. The nearest railhead is Margaon about 11 kilometres away and the nearest airport is at Dabolim about 30 kilometres away. Panjim is about an hour's drive from here, while the Varca beach is just 200 metres away from the resort.

Located 29 kms from Panjim, some airport facilities include currency exchange, a book shop, handicrafts emporium, a duty free shop and facilities for the physically challenged. There is a prepaid taxi stand within and outside the premises.
