Location of the hotel is just great, very close to the all main beaches in North Goa and close to all the fun and action at evenings. Most of the famous eating places of Calangute are at a walkable distance. Hotel building has nice architecture and is maintained well. Hotel has a nice small swimming pool which is great to relax in the noon time. The restaurant is small and is in the main reception area. If you get a room close to it there might face some disturbance. The hotel chef is good and has a good menu in place and is enjoyable. The hotel does not have central water heaters and rooms are fitted with individual heaters. So hot water may not be available on tap, but that's hardly an issue in Goa.

'Small is beautiful,' Schumacher said. I agree with him after my stay at Casa de Goa. The staff recognizes you, no fear of traffic jams at the breakfast table or the pools. The house keeping is prompt. All the posted facilities work perfectly. The beach is a short walk away. The menu range at Casa De Goa is what needs to be improved upon. What they have is no doubt good, but choice can be better. If you are looking at a relaxed atmosphere away from either boisterous or yuppie-snobbish crowd, near a nice beach, with an efficient and friendly staff, browse no further.

A good place but plagued by poor service, very bad cleanliness. The rooms are never cleaned properly and infact even the sheets are not changed daily despite scolding and threatening. This is the experience shared by other residents of the hotel with whom I interacted. Quality of food is poor and needs a lot of improvment. Courtsey is missing as even a plain glass of water is not served unless reminded 4 times and there is no provision to meet any requirement of food or water after 10 p.m., lacks basic medical facilities...in short, a well made hotel plagued by very poor management and upkeep.
