The hotel has changed in its appearance, all the utilities were working though frequent power cuts do irritate you. Lifts could be improved though. Recommended if you have work in South Goa or if you have an early flight to take.

Do you want a hotel hugging the beach Then just go for it. The location is great. You can choose from cottage to standard room. Cottage gives you an excellent view of the sea. So just go for it.

  • Bogmallo Beach Resort Hotel Description

White building and an open lobby and the cool breeze from the sea; this is the famous Bogmallo Beach Resort set up in 1978. The old charm still rocks this place inspite of many layers of renovations that this place has seen. Adjoining the lobby is a long open verandah with cool cane chairs, beyond which, lies the garden and the swimming pool. Next to the swimming pool is an open area for open air parties.

    Rooms
The hotel has 42 Standard and 88 Deluxe rooms and 15 cottages in all. Though the rooms are located in the building itself, the cottages, however, are located 5 minutes away from the main building, in a hamlet of thatched roofed cane huts called the Nirmaya Cottages. These cottages are located in a sprawling ground of manicured lawns and shady trees with the sea as its only barricade. These rooms are complete with all facilities as in a Deluxe room, with air conditioners, tea/coffee maker, water, chairs, television, phones etc. The bathroom is also fully furnished with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. This place also houses the Shirodhara Ayurvedic Kerala Massage Centre. The Deluxe room is a regular size room with facilities like fridge, coffee/tea maker, water, satellite television, central air conditioning, phone, electronic safe, sofa chairs and private balconies except on the one in the first floor. The bathroom is clean and compact with a bath tub and other facilities like shampoo, gel bath, moisturizer, soap, dental kit, soap. The walls are tiled and have a fruity appeal to it. The Standard room is a smaller room with lesser amenities. There is no tea coffee maker and a fridge can be made available on request. The room has wall cabinet for storage purpose and small divan and chairs. The bathroom is however the same.

    Facilities
The three conference halls equipped with modern facilities that can accommodate 80-120 people cater to all the guest's business needs. These halls transform into an ideal party venue for get-togethers. Besides this, there is a beauty salon, and a very diverse Recreation Centre with billiards, chess, table tennis, books etc stocked up for the guests. A full fledged gymnasium with all the state of art facilities like weights, treadmill, dumbbells etc is present here. The swimming pool by the sea is an absolute delight. This is accompanied with a Jacuzzi and steam and sauna facilities. Besides this, there is a tennis court near the cottages. The Ayurvedic Kerala Massage Centre provides a host of treatment and rejuvenation massages. What is extraordinary here is that it houses a traditional chest with chambers and holes, which functions as a steam room, rather steam box! Then there is the casino, which provides much entertainment for the guests. There is a souvenir shop in the lobby as well. Guests's can also indulge in a fascinating array of water sports or flirt with Lady Luck at the popular casino The Fortune Club.

    Dining
The Verandah is their beach front coffee shop. The Nautilus is their multi cuisine specialty restaurant under the open sky with a seating capacity of 80 pax. The Sunset Bar, their in house bar offers some of the finest choices in food and drink. The open poolside gazebo restaurant is a gourmet's delight with its delectable grilled seafood. Coconut Grove is the resort's Goan & Indian specialty restaurant open only for dinner and offers 5 star experiences at basic price. The cottages also have their own restaurant and bar with a seating capacity of 32 pax serving multi cuisine dishes and a wide range of drinks. This restaurant also has a tandoori and bar-be-que section.

    Location
Located on the secluded white Bogmallo beach, the resort is just a 10 minutes drive from the airport. The beach is 4 kilometres from Dabolim Airport and 8 kilometres from Vasco da Gama. The beach is ideal for water sports with its small palm fringed beauty and is one of the more exclusive beaches in Goa.
