Location
Located 6 kms from Calangute, 11 kms from Thivim railway station and 5 kms from Panjim city, Angels Resort makes for an ideal centrally located stop in Goa.

Ensconced by the national highway for the past 10 years, Angels Resort is a place of convenience, comfort and character in the heart of Porvorim. Easy to spot, it welcomes you in its vast premises, playing with colours between green trees, red kilns of bricks on roofs, white walls of its structures and the blue waters shimmering in the pool.

Rooms
The rooms can be divided into 70 air conditioned rooms, 6 Superior Suites and 64 Standard rooms. The Suites are lavish and have single rooms standing as cottages with little gardens in front of them. An alley separates the garden from the room with chairs to laze around. Three massive sofas sit at the center of the living room, with a mahogany table. Colourful vase holding flowers from the garden makes the room come alive. Lamp shades, simple chequered curtains, small wall hangings, a plant or two, two more chairs and a table, a cupboard, refrigerator, tea/coffee maker and a minibar, help personalise the room. The bedroom has a double bed, table and chairs with telephone on one side and floor lamps on the other. The television is in a corner. The bathrooms are simple and appointed with basic amenities like toilet paper and soap. The Standard rooms have the same features and make for an equally comfortable stay. The only difference is that the Standard rooms have a steel cupboard and common seating areas and balconies.

Facilities
Taking a walk through the well-kept place, a row of cottages surrounds the swimming pool in the center. A huge cottage with dark windows is the games room with board games, a table tennis table, television and carom board. Plans to install video games are rife. There are many chairs for one to sit inside in hot weather, gazing at the pool outside. Lampshades in the room give it a warm feeling of a common room. The rectangular pool has an arc on one end, serving as the children's pool. Horticultural plants dot the poolside.

In front of the pool, is the conference room, which is a slick, marbled hall with a small stage, speakers, slanting roof, few pots and huge glass windows reflecting the warmth of the weather inside the air conditioned hall. It can easily accommodate around 250 people for a business or a personal meet.

Dining
The poolside multi cuisine restaurant, which faces the road as well, is done up in bright colours with lampshades and flowers. Aromas hopping around of good food are instrumental in drawing one from outside as well. It has a bar in its inset too. A travel counter, internet facilities, complimentary pick and drop to Calangute beach, currency exchange and doctor on call are the other facilities available at Angels Resort.

Dabolim Airport (40 Km)

Located 29 kms from Panjim, some airport facilities include currency exchange, a book shop, handicrafts emporium, a duty free shop and facilities for the physically challenged. There is a prepaid taxi stand within and outside the premises.

Margaon Railway Station (42 Km)

One of the two main railway stations in Goa, Margaon is in the southern area of the state and services the Konkan Railway line, which has trains plying from Mumbai and other destinations including Delhi.
