Location
Alor Holiday Resort lies in Calangute in North Goa. The airport is 45 km from here, the railway station at Thivim is 17 km. Nearest bus stands are at Mapusa (7 km) and Panjim (12 km). The Calangute beach is 500 metres from here.

This nine-year-old hotel offers a comfortable and fun filled stay in North Goa. Alor Holiday Resort is in the thick of all the party action, yet surrounded by pretty coconut trees and paddy fields. The reception has comfortable black couches and overlooks lots of greenery.

Rooms
The 65 rooms at the hotel are divided into air conditioned and the cheaper option, non air conditioned categories, although all the rooms will be air conditioned this year. Amenities in all the rooms include intercom, a large cupboard, cable television. A small alcove has a sink and a dining table, while another alcove, just as you walk inside the room has a comfortable couch. The balcony has beautiful views of coconut trees and paddy fields.

All the guests enjoy room service from 7 am to 11 pm.

Dining & Facilities
'Paguer' is the multi cuisine restaurant. It is open from one side and looks over to the swimming pool. The Tavern bar adjoins the restaurant. There is a large screen television here and fish patterns are drawn on the walls.

There is a jewellery shop, a beauty salon, an Ayurvedic massage centre and a tailor shop on the premises that operate during 'season', October onwards. The hotel also has a facility for a makeshift conference hall, with equipments. A gymnasium adds to the hotel's facilities.

Other facilities include car and bike rental, currency exchange, indoor games such as billiards and carrom, laundry service, car parking, safety deposit lockers, travel desk and doctor on call.

Dabolim Airport (50 Km)

Located 29 kms from Panjim, some airport facilities include currency exchange, a book shop, handicrafts emporium, a duty free shop and facilities for the physically challenged. There is a prepaid taxi stand within and outside the premises.

Mandovi River Cruise (17 Km)

The best way to take in the scenic beauty of Goa is on a river cruise, giving you breathtaking views of the lush greenery. While the day cruise involves folk dance performances and a chance to spot monuments, the moonlight cruise offers stunning sights.

Titos Night Club (4 Km)

The club is synonymous with Goas nightlife. Located on the Baga beach, this indoor night club has a multi-cuisine restaurant called Brass, an outdoor pub and also Mambos, a 24 hour coffee shop and boutique.

Calangute Beach (3 Km)

Located in North Goa, it s one of the most popular beaches, and thousands throng to it every year. It has some of the best shacks to eat and drink at – like Tito s, Mambo s, and the ever delightful Souza Lobo s. Fort Aguada is also visible at one end.
