Location
The Nishad Resort is located at Naddi in Dharamshala. The Kangra airport is 30 kilometres away, Pathankot/Chakki Bank railway station about 85 kilometres away, Mc Leodganj is 5 kilometres away and Dharamshala is 15 kilometres away.

If Dharamshala and Mc Leodganj are too commercial and crowded for you, Naddi is the place to be. Here, Nishaad Resort is lapped in nature's beauty, the blue sky, green valley and absolute quiet as your only companion. The resort is spread over two levels of the valley. The cottages are located in the higher level, while other rooms and other facilities are on the lower level. A flight of stairs lead to the reception, which is a small cosy place with a sofa unit placed on one end and the reception counter opposite that. A corner table has a computer for the guest's use.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of 10 rooms divided into 6 Cottages and 4 Deluxe rooms. Each of the Cottage has 2 rooms, one on each floor. All the rooms are similar and have the same facilities and services. The Cottages provide privacy and is ideal for couples or large families. The Cottages have an adjoining lawn as well. The facilities in the room include satellite television, telephone, cupboard, luggage rack and a separate seating area. Though the rooms look a little old, they are extremely neat and tidy and well aired. Maybe that's what makes them so cosy. Most of the rooms have a balcony and offer a splendid view of the virgin valley. All rooms have an attached bathroom with a shower area and a geyser and with facilities such as soap, towel and toilet paper.

Dining
The Nishad resort has a multi cuisine restaurant is located on the lobby level and is again a comfortable place beautified by antique furniture. This is made more pretty by the white laced curtains with the sun's rays filtering through the windows. There is a small seating area, more like a living room adjoining the dining hall. This snug place has a sofa unit, a satellite television and a carpeted floor. The food served in the restaurant is mainly Indian and Continental. No alcohol is served here, though guests can get their own liquor.

The hotel offers a lot of facilities like laundry service, housekeeping service, doctor on call, travel assistance, car rental facility, internet usage at an extra charge and sightseeing arrangements.
