Hotel Himgiri Hotel Description

Hotel Himgiri is the first hotel you will come across as you enter the town of Dalhousie. The hotel looks like an apartment from the outside. Once inside, the it gives way to a quaint interior. The extremely hospitable staff makes you feel comfortable and at home. The reception cum lobby area is small and has a spiral staircase going up to the rooms. The restaurant is situated on one floor below the lobby level.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of 21 rooms divided into 18 Deluxe and 3 Super Deluxe rooms. The Super Deluxe room is big with a distinctly demarcated seating area and bed area. The room sports a sofa unit and a centre table, satellite television, fridge and the study table with mirror on wall and then proceeds to the bed area done in drapes and classic furniture. The cupboard and luggage rack is placed next to the bed. The attached bathroom is small but clean and has a shower area, towel, geyser, soap, shampoo and toilet paper. The Deluxe room has a cupboard, luggage rack, satellite television, study table with mirror on the wall, intercom stacked in one line. However, this room has a balcony that opens to the town area. The bathroom is the same as the Super Deluxe room.

Please note that room heaters are provided at an extra cost.

Dining
The restaurant is located on the lower level with tables of 7 and 11. Depending on the setup, the restaurant can accommodate anywhere between 40 - 60 persons at a time. The restaurant serves a delicious range of Indian, Chinese and Gujarati cuisines.

Facilities
Hotel Himgiri offers a wide range of services and facilities to its guests like laundry service, housekeeping service, doctor on call, sightseeing, parking facility and travel assistance. The restaurant can be converted into a conference hall and can accommodate 60 persons is theatre style. The hotel can also arrange for secretarial service on prior notice and additional cost.

Location
Hotel Himgiri is located near the bus stand in Dalhousie and is located about 85 kilometres away from the Kangra airport and Pathankot railway station. The Tourist Information Bureau, taxi stand and SBI is located within walking distance from the hotel, while Khajjiar is 22 kilometres away.
