Grand View Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Dalhousie, adjacent to the bus stand. It is just a 5 minute walk from the Mall and lies very close to the Tourist Bureau and The Dalhousie Club. The nearest railway station and airport are at Pathankot, 80 kms away.

A heritage property spread across 3 acres, Grand View Hotel is housed in a 110 years old building that has been beautifully refurbished to provide the most contemporary facilities. Set at an elevation, the hotel is accessible by a paved pathway that leads up from the main market square near the bus stand in Dalhousie.

The hotel itself is divided into two wings. Although adjacent to each other, the two wings vary in style and architecture. The old wing is a double storey structure while the new wing has two floors above the ground floor. The pride of the place is the immaculately maintained garden in front of the old wing. The lush green garden forms the sitting area of the hotel's coffee shop and is dotted with comfortable garden chairs.

Rooms
The hotel offers luxurious accommodation in 26 elegantly furnished rooms that are divided into 7 standard rooms, 8 Deluxe rooms, 8 Deluxe Suites, 2 Luxury Suites and 1 Royal Suite. All rooms have cosy interiors and feature large windows that overlook the snow capped mountains. Room amenities include cable television, telephone, DVD player, tea/coffee maker, sofas with center table, dressing table, luggage rack and cupboard. The Suites have separate sitting areas and a study table. In addition, the Royal Suite boasts of a bar counter and a four-seater dining table. Washroom amenities are common across categories and include soap, shampoo, moisturiser, shower cap, linen and a geyser. Some washrooms have bath tubs and steam cabinets.

Dining
Dining options at Grand View Hotel are aplenty. Tiffins, the 80-seater multi cuisine restaurant serves delectable Indian, Chinese, Continental and Gujarati fare while Garden Party, the terrace coffee shop serves sumptuous snacks. The alfresco dining at the coffee shop allows guests to enjoy enchanting views of snow capped peaks. The Viceroy Lounge Bar is ideal for a relaxing and quiet evening. Room service is available round the clock.

Conferences & Banquets
Conference/banquet facilities are offered in a spacious and well equipped conference hall that can seat 50 guests in a U-shape arrangement and 150 guests in a theatre style seating arrangement. Banquets for up to 250 guests can be organised on the lawns.

The hotel has a lot in store for children. Besides a play area, there is a small video games arcade adjoining the reception. Various board games are also available. For recreation, Grand View hotel organise bonfire evenings, DJ nights and folk dance performances. Guests can enjoy playing pool at a charge of Rs. 120 per hour and can access internet at a charge of Rs. 50 per hour. The hotel also makes arrangement for sightseeing tours and activities like horse riding and nature walks.
