Coonoor Railway Station
The Nilgiri Mountain Railway is one of the oldest mountain railways in India, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It links Coonoor to the town of Mettupalayam at the foot of the hills. Coonoor was the original termination point of this railway.
