Had clearly booked the room for 3 adults and we checked in at 2 pm. First they gave us a small room which could hardly accomodate 4 bags - forget 3 adults and an extra bed - they added the extra bed on the floor. On complaining they shifted us to a "slightly" bigger room where they fixed a portable bed - this took till 5.30pm [imagine my plight with 2 senior citizens]. There was no exhaust in the bathroom and no proper hot water. The food was average. Prompt housekeeping staff.

All in all the hotel was nice but at times, I felt that it was overcharging a lot for taxis etc.

Hotel is an old property and needs renovation & should then charge the current tariff. The hotel does not have value for money.

Lobby
The lobby welcomes the guests with a wave of cool air that serves as a refuge from the shining, often relentless sun. On the left of the entrance sits the reception table made of light coloured wood and a marble top. On the right of the entrance are two seating spaces with maroon sofas and glass top coffee tables. Lush plants offer a source of pleasantness as they dot the entire area. Two murals adorn the walls; they seem to depict the grandeur of the British past during the days of the Raj.
