Gokulam Park Hotel Description

Only 5 years old, Gokulam Park is a modern hotel under the aegis of the Sarovar Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts Pvt. Ltd. The hotel is a huge and jazzy property on the main road, very difficult to miss. The lobby area is big and huge with the reception on the left and the seating area next to it. There is a souvenir shop in the lobby as well.

Rooms
The hotel has a total of 65 rooms divided into 1 Presidential Suite, 6 Suites and 58 Superior rooms. The Suites have a separate living room and bedroom. The drawing room is small and carpeted and has a sofa unit, satellite television and a mini bar neatly arranged. The bedroom is bigger and semi circular with facilities like satellite television, tea/coffee maker, mini bar, study table with mirror, electronic safe, cupboard, sofa chair, telephone etc. The bathroom is compact and has facilities like bathtub, shampoo, shower gel, moisturizer, and shower cap, phone etc. The Superior room is a compact room, carpeted with 2 sofa chairs, satellite television, mirror, mini bar, electronic safe, cupboard and luggage rack. Both the Suite and Superior rooms have a cloak room, where the luggage rack and cupboard are placed. The bathroom is same for both the categories with the same facilities. Besides this, guests can request for bathrobe as well. Though the rooms in this hotel are not very artistically inclined, but it has got one of the best in-room facilities in Cochin.

Dining
The hotel has the Periyar, a multi cuisine restaurant to satisfy the taste buds of the guests and serves a whole range of Chinese, Continental, North Indian and South Indian cuisines for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Open from 7:30 am till 11:30 pm, the Periyar is a huge hall with clusters of neat seating arrangements. The restaurant also has a private dining area that can accommodate a group of 10 people. One of the few hotels in Cochin to hold a liquor license, the Champ Sports Bar here is one of the choicest hubs of regular pub/bar goers. The walls of the pub are full with paintings of cricket stars and other sport stars in unique settings (one of them in the last Supper style!). The seating is low and comfortable with a wide range of international and domestic liquor on display.

Facilities
The hotel has lots of relaxation facilities like Jacuzzi, spa, health club, steam bath, sauna etc. A well defined gymnasium for the fitness conscious and a swimming pool forms important facilities for the hotel. Two conference halls that can accommodate around 2000 persons, along with a pastry shop are in the making. The beauty parlour and an Ayurvedic Massage Centre is located in the basement of the hotel. Besides these, some other facilities provided here are Wi Fi internet connectivity on a chargeable basis, 24 hours room services and housekeeping service, secretarial services, travel desk, care rental services, souvenir shop, foreign exchange counter and an efficient business centre.

The Gokulam Park is located on N.H road at Kaloor in Cochin about 30 kilometres away from the airport, 1 kilometre away from the north Ernakulam railway station and 4 kilometres away from the South Ernakulam railway station. The KSRTDC bus stand is 3.5 kilometres away.
