Birds Lagoon Hotel Description

The Birds Lagoon is a conglomerate of fully furnished cottages with an ethnic Keralan ambience and modern facilities like refrigerator, television, telephone and attached toilets with natural ventilation. Also known as Dutch Palace, it was built by the Dutch in the 18th century. Within its interiors are rich murals and artifacts. Photography here is strictly prohibited unless permission is sought from the Archaeological Survey of India.

Willingdon Island is home of the modern port that serves Cochin. It is named after Lord Willingdon and is a man made island created from the materials dredged while deepening Kochi Port. It serves as a link between other sea ports of the world.
