Abad Atrium Hotel Description

This hotel is located right behind the Abad Plaza and shares some of the facilities provided in Abad Plaza. It is a white building with 5 floors - an imposing structure which offers a world of comfort on entering the doors.

Lobby
The hotel lobby has a centre space which is carpeted while around it there is marble flooring. It is an elegant area with a glass elevator over looking the entire lobby, thus the name Abad Atrium. The reception counter is a stark white marbled table and the seating space is furnished with maroon and green sofas and gold plated steel bases and glass tops for the coffee table. If you look up, balconies of all floors open out into this open courtyard, looking down towards the reception & lobby.

Rooms
A total of 52 rooms are spread over 5 floors and are divided into 48 Superior rooms which is the base category and 4 Suites. The basic difference between the 2 categories is that the Suites are larger spaces with 2 televisions. The facilities common to all the room are cable television, tea/coffee maker, minibar, electronic safe, 24 hours room service, wireless internet at a charge, hair dryers, bathtubs in all washrooms, air conditioning, fruit platter on request, luxurious toiletries and hot & cold running water. The Suites have 2 plasma televisions and they exude a sense of luxury with their large spaces, dining table and elaborate seating arrangement. The Superior rooms come in twin and double bed categories. The 4th floor of the hotel is completely non smoking.

Dining
Cafe Royal is the 24 hours multi cuisine restaurant which is attached to the lobby. It offers a buffet breakfast (7:00 am to 10:30 am), buffet & a la carte lunch (12:00 noon to 3:00 pm) and a buffet & a la carte dinner (7:00 pm to 11:00 pm). Other dining facilities are shared with Abad Plaza.

Banquets & Conferences
Event is the conference hall located on the 1st floor which can accommodate 50 persons. It is air conditioned and has wooden flooring and all audio visual equipment is supplied at an extra charge. There is also a small business centre with one computer, printer, fax and secretarial services.

Health & Fitness
The hotel shares the health and fitness facilities with Abad Plaza which has a lovely rooftop space with the swimming pool (maximum depth of 6 feet) and a Jacuzzi both of which are complimentary for in house guests. There is also a children's pool and this is open from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. The changing rooms are in the health club beside the pool. The health club has all necessary equipment for a good workout and is centrally air conditioned. It is open during the same timings as of the pool. There is also a massage centre where ladies and gents can be catered to separately and this too functions at the same timings as the health club and swimming pool. The Ayurvedic centre has a doctor who is available from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The hotel is located bang on MG Road just 32 kilometres from the airport and 2 and a half kilometres from the South Railway Station. It is about 40 minutes away from the famous Fort Cochin area.
