Royal Orchid Harsha is located in the heart of the commercial district of the city, just half a kilometre away from M G Road and Commercial Street. Even though the architectural design of the hotel is predominantly from the 80's, the interiors are modern. It has a spacious lobby with two comfortable seating arrangements at one end and a waterfall in the centre of the hall. A tall wooden vase with beautiful fresh flowers stands between the two seating areas. Designer lamp shades and potted plants dot the floor of the lobby while a Japanese style criss-cross wood work on the false ceiling gives it a contemporary touch. The wood and mirror panelled elevator stands at an elevated level beyond the lobby, adjacent to the restaurant, providing access to all floors that house the rooms.

Rooms
The 80 rooms at Royal Orchid Harsha are divided into 40 Superior rooms, 19 Executive rooms, 17 Deluxe rooms and Suites. All rooms are well furnished and appointed with a direct dial telephone, cable television, tea/coffee maker, mini bar, sofa, study table, electronic safe, shoe shine mitt and full length mirror. The mini bar is stocked with 2 complimentary bottles of mineral water when the guest checks in.

The Suite has a separate living room with a four-seater dining table besides all other facilities. Washroom amenities include soap, shampoo, shower cap, shower gel, talcum powder, moisturiser, conditioner, gargle glass, foot mat, linen and hair dryer. Deluxe rooms and Suites are provided with a shaving kit and dental kit in the washroom while the Suite washroom is appointed with a bathrobe, bathtub, first aid kit, loofah pad, hair oil, comb and bath foam, in addition to all other amenities.

Dining
Tiger Trail, the hotel's multi cuisine restaurant cum 24 hour coffee shop serves a range of delectable cuisines including Indian, Chinese, Thai and Continental. A theme restaurant, it offers comfortable seating in low base chairs that are well laid out, creating a sense of space and avoiding clutter. Comfortable sofas with tiger pattern upholstery are placed along the restaurant walls while the wall decor includes false guns, emblems and wooden deer busts. The furniture and decor provides a contrasting ethnic as well as contemporary touch to the place. At one end of the restaurant stands the bar counter while another portion is cordoned off during the night while it serves as a 24 hour coffee shop.

A buffet spread is served for breakfast (7 am - 10:30 am) and lunch (12:30 pm - 3 pm) while the dinner menu is a la carte. The bar, which is part of the restaurant, is open from 11 am to 11 pm. There is also an open hearth where guests can witness live cooking and enjoy the food cooked in front of their eyes.

Conferences & Banquets
Royal Orchid Harsha offers the latest conference facilities in three well equipped halls and a board room. Daffodil and Tulip, the two smaller halls can accommodate 25 to 30 guests in a U-shape arrangement and 70 to 80 guests in a theatre style seating arrangement. Orchid Room, a circular hall, can seat 60 guests in a U-shape arrangement and up to 180 guests in a theatre style seating arrangement. The Board Room can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Hotel Facilities
The hotel is completely Wi-Fi enabled and the service is available at a charge of Rs. 125 for 30 minutes, Rs. 200 for 1 hour and Rs. 600 for 24 hours. The hotel's Business Centre is equipped to provide facilities like fax, photo copy and internet access. Secretarial services are also available.
