Greenwoods Lake Resort Hotel Description

Sterling Greenwoods Lake Resort has a total of 22 acres of land under its name. It expands over a vast area on the outskirts of Ahmedabad and is a lush green property with many facilities to offer.

Lobby
The lobby is a large seating space set in a circular fashion with floral sofas and a couple of wooden centre tables. There is also a wooden shack in the lobby seating area which is present for laying out buffets on. The reception has a semi circular maroon sofa with a round centre table in front of it. White chandeliers hang from the ceiling. A Ganesh ji statute sits at the corner of the reception with a miniature model of the entire property by its side.

Rooms
With a total of 62 rooms, all categories are covered within the hotel. It has 48 Deluxe Rooms, 9 Executive Suites, 4 Villas and 1 Presidential Suite. All the rooms have phones and calls can be connected through the reception, cable television, air conditioning, bathtubs, 24 hour room service and a refrigerator. The Deluxe Rooms have white tiled flooring and walls with wood paneling. There are floral sofas in the rooms and brown wool blankets. A view of the lake compliments most of the rooms.

The Executive Suites have a small room with a single bed on entering. Connected is a double bedroom with a small kitchenette. The kitchenette has a black marble slab and steel sink. The Double Villas have two double bedrooms on the first floor of the room. There is also a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs, there are two single beds, a television, dining table and bathroom. As of the moment 16 new Villas are being built on the property.

Other guest services include doctor on call, travel assistance, sightseeing packages, airport and railway station pick up and drop at discounted rates.

Dining
The two dining facilities offered at the hotel are the Aquarius Buffet Hall, a vegetarian multi cuisine restaurant that is open for lunch and dinner from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The restaurant has one wall as a window which overlooks the lake. With brown tiled flooring and blue upholstered chairs, it is a cosy little place to dine in with Hindi movie songs playing in the background. The Scorpio Hall is the 24 hour coffee shop. The staff serves a buffet here if the occupancy in the hotel is high and there is a demand for the buffet otherwise an a la carte will suffice all your needs.

Conference & Banquets
The Gemini conference hall can accommodate a total of 35 people and the guests are provided with a pen, pad, whiteboard, marker and duster free of charge. Any facilities required over and above are all at a charge.

The hotel also has a Greenwood Club, which can only be accessed by members. Greenwood club members enjoy various facilities like a 25% discount on rooms, free boating, table tennis, pool and swimming and 15% off at the restaurant. The club boasts of a large block of open land and an equally large lake, which is used for boating. The club also has a huge lawn for parties and weddings along with a children's park by its side.
