Location
Located opposite Howard Park Plaza, Hotel Ganga Ratan lies on one of the main roads of the city and provides easy access to all centres of commercial and tourist interest. The Taj Mahal is within walking distance, about half a kilometre from the hotel while the Agra Cantt. Railway Station is 4 kms away. The bus stand and Sadar Bazaar are 3 kms away.

It might seem like two separate buildings on the outside, but once inside, you can see that Hotel Ganga Ratan is a harmonious whole. Although the building is nearly a decade old, the hotel has been renovated extensively and there are plans to add a bar and swimming pool next year. The hotel's lobby is well furnished and the friendly staff at the reception, ever willing to help you. Prominently placed next to the reception counter is a mini replica of the most famous monument in the city, the Taj Mahal. After admiring it, move on to the spacious well furnished rooms.

Rooms
The 66 rooms at the hotel are divided into 10 Standard rooms, 50 Deluxe rooms and 6 Super Deluxe rooms, all offering a range of facilities to suit every budget. All rooms have been provided with the regular amenities like colour television, chairs/sofas, small refrigerator, direct dial telephone and dressing table with mirror. The attached washroom features soap, shampoo, linen and exhaust fan.

The Super Deluxe rooms provide the added comfort of a separate living room and bedroom. The difference between the rooms also lies in their size, wherein the standard rooms are spacious enough to be comfortable but not luxuriously spacious.

Dining
Dining facilities are limited to one multi cuisine restaurant that serves a range of Indian, Chinese and Continental food. Although the Indian menu offers quite a variety, the other fare is limited to a few common dishes. The restaurant remains open from 6 am to 11 pm. The same menu is available through room service but at an additional charge of 10% of the bill amount.

Services & Facilities
Conference and banquet facilities include three halls of varying sizes that can accommodate 30 to 400 guests.

While Hotel Ganga Ratan does not offer too many recreational facilities, it does arrange for guided tours, taxis and guides on request. Other facilities at the hotel include currency exchange facility, spacious parking, laundry service, doctor on call and an open terrace to enjoy viewing the Taj.

Kheria Airport (6 Km)

Six kilometers from the city centre, the airport is serviced by most airlines. The airport offers facilities such as currency exchange, post office services, duty-free shopping, snack bars, facilities for the physically challenged and a travel desk.

Taj Mahal (0.5 Km)

Emperor Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Built in white marble, lying on the banks of the river Yamuna, it is one of the most stunning structures of the world, embodying perfect symmetry and exquisite detailing.

Fathepur Sikri (45 Km)

Thirty seven kilometers from Agra, this UNESCO World Heritage Site was built from scratch in 1571 by Akbar and abandoned within 14 years. It’s an architectural marvel, built with red sand stone, housing courtyards, arches, palaces and domes.

Agra Cantonment Station (4 Km)

Located in the southwest area of the city, the Agra Cantonment Station is a major rail head, well connected with the rest of the country. Painted in white, the station houses a tourist information centre an outside, there is a pre-paid taxi booth.
