A big hotel with 5 star facilities. The rooms are excellent; has all the amenities and the huge windows are an added bonus. Bathroom is especially clean with all the facilities like shampoo, conditioner, soap, moisturizer etc., I was not carrying anythingÂ…and it was very convenient and an absolute delight to discover this. The room service is goodÂ…found the room spotless every time I returned back. They even have an option of letting the guests choose whether they want to change the linen every day or not. This with respect to save water!! I really liked this concept. Dining and wining facilities are excellent as well, though a little on the higher range. But their service is what stands out; they packed hot breakfast for me at 4 in the morning because I had to catch a train! Transportation was a little difficult as the hotel is located in a fairly non commercial area. The auto rickshaw guys throw a tantrum, especially at night time. However, there are a few cycle rickshaws and autowalas outside the gate all the time.

Overall, a good hotel. Quality of food and service was very good. However, the hotelÂ’s restaurant needs some improvement in its ambience.

It's a great place to stay. It's located in a quiet peaceful area, off the main road. The range of facilities were up to the mark, as expected of a Clarks hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and had huge windows through which the Taj was visible at a distance. The washroom was especially nice and had all amenities that one could possibly require. The best part about this hotel is the space. It has huge sprawling lawns and ample of space beside the pool too. The dining facilities were really good, especially since they had an oriental food fest going on while we were there. The shops at the shopping arcade had interesting stuff but were a little expensive (quite expected). Basically, it‚Â’s a nice, comfortable and pleasant place to stay and quite worth splurging on.

The first thing you notice upon entering the hotel is the vastness of the property on which it is situated. There are three wings (main, garden and tower) to the hotel and three massive lawns adorning it. The lobby is long and uncluttered and leads you on to the Khayyam Bar on the ground floor itself. On the right is Cakes and Bakes the pastry shop, offering mouth watering cakes, muffins, tarts and other cookies from the kitchen. To take the elevator, turn left from the restaurant and after crossing a series of expensive curio shops (shawls, Pashmina, marble stuff, silver jewellery, paintings etc), you will come face to face with a mini-lobby. Room AmenitiesThe hotel features 237 lavishly appointed and centrally air-conditioned rooms and suites including 81 Deluxe rooms, 154 Superior rooms and 2 suites, all complete with 24 hours room service. Both rooms have paid mini bar, television with remote control, direct dialing facilities. The Deluxe rooms in addition, have a savoury basket, tea/coffee maker, hair dryers, safe lockers, upgraded toiletries/amenities and fruit basket on order and view of the Taj Mahal from certain angles. DiningThe 'Mughal Bar' and 'Mughal Room' restaurants are at the roof top, providing beautiful views of the Taj Mahal. The hotel also has 'Bansuri' which is a coffee shop and buffet restaurant.Hotel FacilitiesThe Shenaz Hall, Akbar Hall and Tower Hall are the banquet halls which can house up to 500 people and are ideal for all big and small business or social meets. The hotel also organises pool side bar-be-que for almost 100 people. The swimming pool is huge and the fitness centre, Ayurvedic massage centre, steam and sauna and Jacuzzi are located around the pool for the convenience of the guests.
