Phuket, the jewel of the Andaman Sea is one of the most popular beach destinations in South East Asia. This tropical beach paradise offers a range of popular beaches including the famous Patong Beach, Karon Beach, Kata Beach and Kata Noi Beach. Other relatively less popular beaches like Kamala Beach, Surin Beach and Bang Tao Beach are much loess developed and crowded than Patong Beach and are preferred by tourists who enjoy relative isolation including honeymoon couples seeking secluded stretches of sand. Phuket vacations are incomplete without indulging in water sports including snorkelling. Besides idling at the beach and enjoying the range of seafood served in roadside shacks, there?s much to see and do in Phuket. Non beach activities to be enjoyed in Phuket include tours of coconut and rubber plantations and a trip to waterfalls such as Ton Sai and Bang Pae.
